The only tip i can give you is, practice, practice and more practice! And don't pick on a lock longer than 10 minutes, because otherwise you get frustated and apply to much tension. And... don't apply to much tension! You don't have too put much, only so many, that the cylinder turns a little bit, many people doens't know, that they apply too much tension, you only have to give it like a feather touch.
