  • THANK YOU , and thank you internet.....good post..

  • Seriously. Why don't they just sell these things independently or something, I mean, these NEED to go out on the market. It's been long enough. Fuck, I'd buy one right now!

  • @slyscafe because congress won't let them. Congress won't let some underdog come out with new technology that is better than what we have today because that would kick the competition in the ass and their buddies nor the one's in congress would be able to make money anymore. Congress has to figure out a way to make money first.

  • All I have to say is "screw hybrids."

  • even before this screw hybrids.. i want one in a Aptera 2E..

  • it completely baffles me that after 3 years there isnt a motorsport car built with one of these as a powerplant! if the claims are true then such a car would piss all over other competitors, the resulting media coverage would attract investors from every inch of the globe.....its either a case of it just doesnt work, or they been going about the problem the wrong way

  • say it doesn't work . i still like his work that i see . witch is more than i can say for ANY GOVERNMENT action group that would have tried the same thing.. good job

  • I really, really, really, REALLY want to see a live demo of a running MYT powered car.

I hate being skeptical but I havent seen anything in the real world since the concept was announced.

If it proved practical in the real world, then would KILL to have one in my jeep or 95 camaro.

I wish Morgado the best and hope that angel labs bring a working demo car to a car show at some point in the future.

  • I like it. The timing is genius. The weak link will be the timing gears and links.

  • The reason no one will invest in them is they don't have a single running model.

The reason for this is poor lubrication, poor cooling, unbalanced.

  • depends if heat was the problem why dont we see more diesel road tractors with anti freeze phuchin out of em? ( not a problem with his high comp ratios) balance maybe but he fires every 12 deg. the flywheel just got alot lighter.. lube // maybe over the long term. however i'd love to have one to mount in a old model a truck just to play with..

  • I think the reason they're finding it difficult to bring this to the automotive market is because companies are looking towards electricity not fossil fuels. Electric motors are by far superior in terms of Power to Weight ratio the only downside of them at this time is the batteries used to power them. Companies would rather invest in these electrically powered systems than steadily use up the worlds fossil fuels. Also its cleaner and will likely stay in use far into the future.

  • @oasiac There are boidiesel fuels that can be used (the diesel engine was designed to run on peanut oil originally before diesel fuel in crude oil was discovered to be useful), making its sustainability much greater, and it burns the fuel to the point where there is no more burnable fuel left, unlike average engines, where as much as 25% of the fuel goes unburned and out the tailpipe. That is why cars need catalytic converters, to burn off excess fuel in the exhaust. Don't get me wrong,

  • electric motors are good and all, and have a great thrust to torque ratio, which can be taken advantage of, but they are also more expensive to produce, due to the increased price of copper, and they can burn out, as the windings heat up over and over again, and are expensive to repair or replace. Then there is the power supply issue, as you cited. So, this could be a very viable alternative.

  • where u think electricity comes from?? coal and fuel dude. this engine is far better than electric cars. the reason its not in production is MONEY. this engine is too efficient and too cheap. there are interests that dont want the engine on market otherwise he'd hav far more offers by now. this is cleaner this is more efficient than electric.

  • @oasiac At the moment the most efficient long range automotive is efficient diesel generator to electric motor,

  • i like this alot it creates something new, b ut why is it so hard to find vids of it working on everyday fuel, e.g car test it try it show it! numbers mean nothing if its not in my holden

  • excellent work!

  • It can work I trully believe. Only obstacle is that I don't have 10 million bucks with me.

  • There is video of this running. It seems like with some pressure he could get some federal funding (unless that's all talk).

  • yes its all about the information war

  • Stan Meyer backed out when his device was due to be tested by a university. This guy is following similar scam procedures. All he seems capable of doing is churning out BS about being a victim of circumstance. If I were him, I would show the engine actually running on gas or diesel every chance I got. He never does, and no one has a clue as to the engine's reliability.

  • Yar, that's the way of it all right. Agree with you 100%.

  • Early on in the series, it was explained why the demos And development are none with air. failure under air, give a better chance of discovering what broke first, he admitted things did break. None of his claims break any laws of physics that I'm aware of. Of course there is a lot to be proved before, before the engine can be marketed. No one is forced to invest.

  • CO2 does not drive global temperatures. The sun does.

  • Agree!!

  • Of course the Sun produces the heat, but you are over simplifying the issue. The question is why you would over simplify the issue?

  • just heat ?? what about the whole invisible and visible .. and known frequency spectrum?? not to mention any and all un real and realistic /aetheric energy?? heck i prolly left out a bunch//

  • Question,

Could this type of engine be used to build a space plane like those SCRAM jets they are working with?

  • Sounds great, would like to see it in a car :)

  • me too

  • I am afraid that if it is real, like the Tucker, or Stan Myers the idea will be crushed.

  • yeah, i am afraid of that too. Hopefully there will become a greater awareness of this engine which would stop any suppression.

  • tom ogle's 390 ford galaxie shure did . it got 111 mpg and was killed off but the carter administrations energy dept. (usless bunch). i seen toms car and it did run fine at 55 mph.. look up tom ogle fuel story..
