In this never to happen event, I think Snake would win. Snake is the ultimate sniper (As BB was) he can hide in plain site (Something Fisher rarely has done), and Snake is superior in hand gun, and fighting. But doesn't matter, both are good games.
Side note, there is only one person who can beat Chuck Norris and his name is Sean Connery, and BB is Sean Connery (Inside Joke from the origonal MG)

Yeah i've seen it. Inspiration...not a copy. Snake's personality comes from a plethora of different sources. Snake has his own personality and thoughts, MC doesn't even talk, how hard must it have been to think up how he reacts, thinks and feels. It was microsoft's way the avoiding the fact that the 360 doesn't have a decent emotion engine. And I do read books, but proper ones, not fanboy halo books. I can't character assassinate MC...he doesn't have one to assassinate.
That's what I meant when I refered to the film it was highlighting the fact that MC is more unique as a character than Snake...He does talk not much and it's the AI Cortana that does most of the talking but you can tell MCs reaction from his actions which speak louder than words...Mario was given a moustache because the programers needed a way to show he had a face he's hardly vocal and so is Sonic but hey you still have hundreds of people stating they're Gamings best characters...

Nope Sam is more kick#%& than Snake. He is more effective than anything Snake can handle. In SC: Conviction he is completely unstoppable.
Heck I'm a PS3 fan but SC is more tactical and fun than MGS.
