That year wasn't too bad. It ended as a bummer, and had a couple ugly losses (to Michigan and USC along with LSU), but 2007 was the real bad year. I cheer for ND unless they play Penn State, so I wasn't too bummed over seeing Penn State get their asses wiped here, but I was hoping for a PSU win. But you're right, this was a great game that many forget about. This was a good team that was two or three plays away from being conference co-champs with Ohio State and Wisconsin.
