Being anti-Israel is no bad thing. I don't advocate the complete "destruction" of Israel like some people do but the state itself has no right to exist in its current position. A Hamas presence in Jordan? I'm unaware of this. Militant Palestinians were driven out of Jordan almost 40 years ago. Jordan is one of two Arab countries with normal relations with Israel, I don't think they would have hamas. They do have a huge community of law abiding Palestinians though

People pain this picture of "Israel just decided to attack the Palestinians in Gaza for no reason, poor poor people", But Hamas has been firing rockets at innocent Israeli citizens for a very long time. Over 8000 people have been injured or killed. The conflict began because in one day, Hamas fired over 100 rockets at Sderot, a city near the border with Gaza.

It always amazes me that so many people form and loudly voice their opinion on Israel, when in fact they are merely regurgitating misinformation propagated by bias media such as CNN, BBC and of course......ALJAZEERA. As a Jew and an Israeli citizen, it pains me to see that even today the truth is hardly ever accepted as fact.
It's somewhat funny that a lot of people are saying that Gaza is under seige and that no food clothing and medicine and etc can't go inside Gaza but rockets, bombs and bomb-making materials are flowing to Gaza unabated? How is that?

Are you serious? Gaza borders two countries only - Israel and Egypt. Egypt has closed its borders to Gaza for its own political reasons, even though it does relax that closure periodically. Israel blockades it relentlessly. Jordan has to go through the same repressive bureaucratic hoops to deliver aid to Gaza as everyone else. It's the internet - there's lots of info out there, including maps. Use them.

Being anti-Israel is no bad thing. I don't advocate the complete "destruction" of Israel like some people do but the state itself has no right to exist in its current position. No countries should have citizenship/immigration rules based on religion or ethnicity. The whole "Jewish State" nonsense has to stop and it has to start conforming to the rules of international law AND acting like a proper secular democracy, which it's not.

The reason for the Jewish state is because of 2000 years of anti-Semitism throughout the world. It is *only* by having a dedicated Jewish nation, that there can be a refuge from anti-Semitism, and a guarantee that there could be no repetition of the Holocaust.

A Hamas presence in Jordan? I'm unaware of this. Militant Palestinians were driven out of Jordan almost 40 years ago. Jordan is one of two Arab countries with normal relations with Israel, I don't think they would have hamas. They do have a huge community of law abiding Palestinians though

People pain this picture of "Israel just decided to attack the Palestinians in Gaza for no reason, poor poor people", But Hamas has been firing rockets at innocent Israeli citizens for a very long time. Over 8000 people have been injured or killed. The conflict began because in one day, Hamas fired over 100 rockets at Sderot, a city near the border with Gaza.

During Jordan's illegal occupation of Jerusalem from 1948-1967, Jews were not allowed to pray at the most holy of spots, there were also desecrations of synagogues and cemeteries in Jerusalem. Jordanian engineers built roads over cemeteries and allowed workers to use Jewish graves as latrines. Has the Jordanian government ever apologized to the Jewish people for this racist, insensitive and insulting behavior? If not, will they ever ?

first of all, Jordan did not "illegaly occupied" Jerusalem, Israel did, and second, Jordan and the west bank were united, Israel started the war to illegaly occupy lands that were not theirs and killed so many families in the process. it was a state of war at that time.

What I'm saying is: Both sides of the conflict have made serious errors in judgement, and the only way we can make peace, is if both sides are able to see past the pain caused by the others, and try to come to an agreement that will build trust between the two nations. It's ridiculous to judge her character based on the actions of her father-in-law. Regardless of what happened in the past, some credit must be given to her for trying to bridge the gap and for speaking out against human rights violations. Unless she, herself, supported that peace treaty or perpetuated the corruption, she is hardly a hypocrite.

Don't forget the UN resoltions the arabs have ignored.....they are no better in fact much worse in my opinon, though none is innocent.
Remember the Jews did not kick out any arabs from their homes, the Palestinians abandoned their homes for fear of the horrible Jews (arab propaganda backfiring on them). But the Jews were kicked out of their homes in many arab countries at that time, because of whta happened in Israel. The JEws were then forced to live in Israel.

Israel had been developing contingency resposes based on its inability to deter Hamas from lobbing rockets at its innocent,by diplomatic means,official & unofficial tracks to resolve/reduce the threat to civilians on both sides. Ultimately, israeli citizens demanded a more proactive response that reflected their interests rather than those attacking them-Hamas had simply run out of time & Israel had to put up of shut up for its own distraught civilians.

akkilani, the land of Israel & the Arabian Peninsula have always been inhabited by Jews, Arabs, Druze (since the 10th century), Bedouin and many smaller groups-this region has always been a patchwork of tribal areas and sheikdoms-each of us had our home. What caused the Arabs to become so xenophobic about its neighbors? Is not the One G-d whom all monotheistic tribes recognize, great enough to encompass all of us? If we are all decendents of Abraham have we forgotten that he had a 4 sided tent?

I've read some of your comments to the Queen Rania videos. I must say, I'm very impressed with your highly informed eloquence. It always amazes me that so many people form and loudly voice their opinion on Israel, when in fact they are merely regurgitating misinformation propagated by bias media such as CNN, BBC and of course......ALJAZEERA. As a Jew and an Israeli citizen, it pains me to see that even today the truth is hardly ever accepted as fact.
