@LuigiLRBA if you are talking about the high pitched squeals those are called Pinch Harmonics, or Artificial Harmonics. Basically just tap the string with a finger on the picking hand immediately after picking it. There are literally dozens of harmonics you can find over your pickups for each string XD

@JeeDaMasta its like recording three vids each one perfectly timed with each other then puttin em on a computer and using a video editor and or sound editor to multilayer the tracks into one video/track. seems easy its harder than it looks haha

The tone qualiiy of the guitar and balance of the tracks are quite sketchy. The bass sounds great, but needs to be louder. The high-end tone of the guitar track needs less intensity, because when I hear the guitar, I hear more "FSSHHSHSH" than I hear actual notes. But anyway, I still respect you for your good taste in music.

I've listened to your tetris themes, and I like the arrangement. The fingering choices you have made are wise to facilitate cleaner playing. The only criticism I would give would be to try a different sort of vibrato with your pinch harmonics, since they all sound more to me like they are bent a little out of key rather than an aggressive vibrato. I'm not saying that the pinch harmonics are bad, but they just sounded a little uncomfortable to my ear.

But it could be either different amp (settings) or the way you play it - i meant a vibrato like you repeatedly bend it up and down, not just once - he is even doing it on video.

im not 100% sure but theres probably several Video Programs you can get that allow you to do this. Try googling something like Video editor or avi editor. i used to have a freeware one that was okay.

start with a click track, drum machine, anything with a steady rhythm you can play to, then record each part. If you do it right, they will all line up in sync. If you do it wrong.... it sounds like crap.

Caleb, this is truly a masterful cover - The mixture of melody, bass and harmony gives this piece so much more than just the melody on its own. The consonance/dissonance really elevate this piece to another level. Many modern musicians could learn from music such as this - even at that, the Tetris themes are based on old pieces. Theme C is based on a Bach piece and Theme A on a Russian song (I'm not sure about Theme B). Classical/Baroque/Traditional music are all less seen yet fantastic genres.

Hi Silesu, you're bang on about the Final Fantasy music, it very much has a strong classical element. FF7's "On the Other Side of the Mountain" is based on Francisco Tarrega's "Lagrima". As for recording FF music, I've always found that classical guitar pieces and arrangements work well; the difficulty arises when people try to play classical pieces in a non-classical style. I recorded a FFIV piece a couple of months ago using a classical tremolo, and I'm happy with how it came out.
