Barry Sanders would have beaten Walter's rushing record easy. I mean he would left everyone including Emmitt Smith in the dust. I mean retiring at 30 he could of played another 4 years easy. The problem was he knew that the Lions culture wasn't going to improve. He said it so himself, that the Lions losing culture robbed him of competitiveness. Basically, it came down to why try if the team is going to lose and since then the Lions have sucked without Sanders.
