I heard you can cut plants in half then combine them with other plants to make a new plant. Is that true?

Are you referring to grafting plants or combining plant characteristics at a genetic level?

@CSIROpublishing yeah. lol I think it's called grafting but I'm not sure if you can do it by cutting them in half, what plants you can mix and how exactly it works.
