I would have prefered to be in the escape... the nissan looked like it was gonna roll over a few times, and the escape seemed to handle the bumps a lot better for a stock vehicle.
this is such a great to car. I have an 06 limited. Its worth every penny. i've put 25 thousand miles on it in one year driving around boston and New England. Ive drving it to NY a couple of times > I just came back from Montreal from new years eve.. I average about 65 mph in the middle of a snow storm for 6 hours on route 89 and 93 and it handle great.I don't drive my car easy either.
im hopin on gettin 1 for my 16th but whats up with the smokin out of the hood gonna blow up. lol it mite just be the water hittin the engine. idk lol peace
Never seen that before. I have an Escape and it's pretty quick for an SUV. I haven't taken it off road yet but I have experienced the "stellar turn radius".
this vidio is oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt of this world
It was ok. I no longer have it, it wasnt my cup of tea. If you just need a small SUV to travel around in that gets decent MPG then its great! Buit I wanted something that was good off road, so I traded it in for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and couldnt be happier
Well im just 19 i really just want it because i like to sit higher which i dont get with my accord so i was going to get a 4x4 03 escape, just to drive reguarly, and occasionally go off road with my friends messing around, so you think this car is good, for that? like not seriously off roading just minor stuff sometimes.
Yeah for just a little goofing around, its great. I loved the SUV, lots of room and it was a nice drive. But I am 18 so I know what you mean. I wanted it to sit higher and take friends places easily, but then I started to become obsessed with off roading, so I traded it in for a jeep haha. But they are great SUVs.
Yeah, drive it like its a rental and drive it like its stolen probably originated from the same guy. I rented a brand new Escape from Hertz about seven years back and they made me promise that I would neither off road it or tow with it. I did both, one a 95 towing a honda civic.

The Escape will go off-road just as good as a a Liberty, Patriot, Compass, or Commander.

add that to "stellar turn radius" and you've got yourself a mix between a city slicker and a redneck.
