The Towers were not supposed to collapse. If the Pancake Effect itself were correct, you would still have the massive steel towers standing hundreds of feet in the air.

@AnonymousWhitePerson the first respondors never found any evidence of planted explosives, they lost friends and almost got killed in the attacks themselves, any planned demolition always leaves proof of those explosives but none were found at the scene that day, as for claims of thermite paint, look at videos and pics of the debris field, none of the steel is even painted, if there were explosives why didn't the planes set them off and drop the towers upon impact?

my video 911 engines... proves that the planes made it into the cores destroying about 40% of the structure, the fire weakened the remaining steel over time and the weight above the impact points caused collapse, that's why the south tower fell first because there was more weight.

@AnonymousWhitePerson no i do get it, the towers were designed to withstand a 707 hitting it, they thought that a 707 lost in the fog (slower speed) coming in for a landing (bare minimum amount of fuel) was the only way a plane would hit the towers.
a 767 (heavier plane) full of fuel (10,000 gallons is 7 lbs per = 70,000 lbs = 35 tons, just the fuel alone) at over 500 mph, destroying 40% of the core and the fire weakened the rest of the steel and could no longer hold the weight.

Also a 707 and 767-2xxER are negligible in weight differences.

I merely stated:
(a) that B707 and B767-233ER are around the same weight.
(b) The WTC was "Designed" to withstand a fully loaded B707 with ~90000L of Fuel.
No one is doubting that the WTC fell or that people died.
The fact that the design could be fault is highly probable.
But I think its ignorant to think that engineers in the 60s only though a plane would fly into the tower at landing speed with no fuel.

It's easy to compare the mass of the two planes and its easy to get the quotes from the original WTC engineers. I have no made any other responses that require "scientific information".
