I think we all know that's not why he couldn't do the demo. He was holding the phone "wrong" (covering up the problem area in the antenna in iphone 4) during the demo which caused the wifi signal to drop.

He saw that all the employees in that company wore the same clothes so he tried to apply that to his company but he failed actually. However, he still applied that tradition to himself so now we have an iconic Steve Jobs with black long sleeves sweater, jeans and tennis shoes on stage every Apple event. :)

The audience had no idea that their WiFi base stations were disrupting the presentation and upon being warned once that it was, he treated them as if he was their teacher and they were misbehaving.

Anyway, I don't blame him

He was very sick at that point

@noworriez1 You know how people are. If you ask them nicely if they might be obliged to maybe shut down their wifi, maybe 2 or 3 will. If you want people to listen you have to politely but forcefully tell them to do it and tell them why they have to do it and that's what he did. I think he handled it pretty nicely. Forcefully but with a smile.
