Why are we doing so much offshore oil drilling in the gulf, and in Alaska? (I heard its enough to last 300 years.) We dont need to be so dependant on other countries.
Imagine the U.S. spending $3 billion a week on alternative energy research instead of the Iraq War. He has done more to hasten the demise of the American empire than any other president in modern history.
the saudis say there is enough oild to satisy the demand!? why are the oild prices out of control than? who is the fucking prefiteering scumbag parsite in between? exxon/mobile,shell, bp...no of course not...lol they just fill their pockets with "blood" money, hurting every single "normal" person on the planet! fuck them!!
the bush is oil of connery did not never cost anything, but has Ben always freely in the United States, whose tap was sucked by these Arabs during centuries when somebody indicated to me that it is a conspiracy to weaken the people on the street, to obtain inside their heads and to make them the servile slaves with the cock-man. sucking the life of the peasants is the oldest play in the world; bleed them of the benefit of their work and you will reign.
For decades, our country has not been able to cobble any kind of energy plan together.
Our government looks for more fossil fuels, and that has been their only consistent policy even while modern nations upgrade to renewable sources. I think this will partly hurt our standard of living - or perhaps it as already? Norway, which takes more than nine tenths of its electricity from renewable sources, has a higher GDP (more evenly distributed) than we do despite working less.
OPEC's oil demand is going down, inflation is causing the price of oil to be disproportional, you can't give your commodities away. Eventually that inflation is going to spread to the rest of the market and people are going to stop trading in US dollars.
Isn't it ironic? Now we've got to go begging for more oil... That's what Bush has stooped to. Turned us into a nation of beggars. Aren't we already fighting 2 wars to "secure our oil?" Were's the benefits from that? When are the benefits from that going to be available?

The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were never about the oil. I suggest you get your head out of the leftist blogs and start looking for the facts and using your own brain. Just because an idea is anti-Bush doesn't make it true.
It's not oil that's the problem, it's the Federal Reserve printing notes that have no real backing of value. Bush should be announcing to reaffirm the gold standard and pave the way to eliminate the Federal Reserve all together. Oil is not raising in value, the dollar is loosing its value.
Who are you, Williams Jennings Bryant? This would be folly and bring on a depression that would make the 1930s look like the Clinton years - 35 million jobs, low inflation, real income growth, and a federal budget surplus.
