The thing about this program is it's a very significant redone version of Ulead media studio pro 7,Ulead being purchased by Corel. Ulead sold MSpro 7 for $250.00 us.

Corels version,VSproX3 is 99% better although the Ulead thingy had a neat video paint program as well as a pretty good DVD author/burn setup. A beginner is offered a simple edit version in the VSPROX3 pack,vsproX3 is very creative friendly, user should be a bit experienced with edit techniques as vsProX3 is a bit above amature

I use VideoStudio Pro X2 and while it is a easy to use and effective rendering software it is extremely prone to crashing if one is working with larger projects. On average Pro X2 crashes at least 5 or 6 times each session and I would sincerely hope that X3 is more stable

@stylishvampire Above the timeline where everything is at, there is a sound mixer button. click it and as you go through your video, you can increase and decrease the sound. You haveto be playing through the video to have the sound change. Then when you're done, play it back and the sound should have changed depending on at what places you changed the volume levels. This also works when you drag it. If you drag the volume down then it will decrease the same speed as you dragged it.

@skatenblade97 yes this has slow motion you can increase and decrease the speed of your videos up to 1% of the original speed, to as fast as 1,000%. Also, you can change the duration of the clip to change the speed, good for music videos for timing.

@stylishvampire once you have the clip in the timeline then you can select it. After selecting it, you can go to the end of the clip to change how long it plays but will cut the rest of the clip off. So if you were to move the clip back 1 second by cutting it off, you will lose the 1 second of the clip at the end. But if you hold down shift and drag it back it will change the playback speed. Or, you can right click on it and go to change playback speed. I have it in one of my videos

In spite of ticking the "enable hardware acceleration " box, it still takes too long to do things. It doesn't even use it, I've been checking the load on GPU and is 0%.

If so, you will have to scroll down on the page and choose what format you want the video in, ie. flv., mpeg4. and give the video a title and then save.
