Ciao, l'utente sotto ha messo in evidenza che alcuni dei rider in questo video non usano il casco e lo zaino di sicurezza antivalanga con sonda e pala. Sebbene tutti i raider abbiano un arva, ciò non è sufficiente a garantire la sicurezza fuori pista e l'attrezzatura completa dovrebbe SEMPRE essere utilizzata. Sebbene siamo dei local e conosciamo ogni cm dei percorsi, ciò non toglie che ogni volta che sottovalutiamo la sicurezza mettiamo noi stessi ed altri a repentaglio.
For the sake of who is watching: this video shoots some freeriding we did in Sella Nevea, in Italy, a winter resort connected to Bovec, in Slovenia. As the user below pointed out not all of the people riding has the full safety equipment in display. In particular some of us ride with no helmet and no backpack with avalanche gear. This has to be avoided at any time. We know every cm of the tracks and we know the conditions. Nevertheless, anytime we don't use care we put ourselves at risk.
While I agree on your comments and I can assure everybody in the video has arva, I don't necessarily subscribe your tone. Said that, it is correct that freeriding should be done in total safety and you did well to raise a problem which we underestimated: it is, above all, not a commissioned marketing video, but just a bunch of friends filmed by a camera.
Nice video. Not very educational though. Huge minus for presentation of of piste safety. NO HELMET, NO BACKPACK with avalanche gear (probe, showell), it seems that age is no problem for stupidity.
The older we get, the better we become! A super video with super actors (most of them over 40!). An EXCELLENT promotion for Sella Nevea, freeride paradise, the most diverse, intriguing, fascinating resort of the north easterner Alps. If you look for something out of the usual crowd, go to Sella Nevea!
