  • My Middle school I attended had coded pull stations as well. I can tell from the way the bell rang and when the building was built. However I think the manufacturer was different then EST. And the pull stations had a gray iron cover on the outside so I dont know what they look like. And today that school as EST Genesis speaker/horn strobes. And the EST 278B-1110 pull stations. And the old pull stations. They are gone. So are majority of the bells. Some bells got missed in removal but dont work.

  • I think Edwards kept that same pull station design when changing over from coded pull stations to switch style pull stations. But only changed the lever and the inside of the pull station. And maybe changed the size. My second EM has them and my high school have them. And I believe both were installed at the same time as my second EM added an addition in 97 along with replaced the fire alarm system and my high school renovated from 96-99.

  • @MrWill1985 yeah, that pull station is probably one of their most famous trademarks, they've had the same style and design for a loong time.
