Denne konserten er vel kanskje den siste Miles R.I.P. gjorde. Han døde 28 sept. 1991. Et drøyt år senere altså. Miles var syk, og meget!! heroinpåvirket, Noe som vel kommer klart frem. En smule "på trynet", kanskje....?! Men når man heter Miles Davis, så er det helt OK! Utrolig hvordan musikerene hans følger med... og så fulle av respek! med rette!
Not trying to be technical, but Joseph "Foley" McCreary is playing a lead (piccolo) bass on here, not a guitar. Thanks for posting, Kenny was always genius blowing on this tune!!!!!!
Great version! The best Miles had made among those on YT -the cd version is the one I dislike the most-. Miles' solo is astonishing! What a master in taking pause!
@ceriello I think the rest of the band would have preferred that too, considering everyone was trying to drag the tempo ever to slightly to get the song to slow down. Sometimes when songs start faster than was anticipated or planned, you just run with it...
