I'm not really a fan of new Kreator. This "comeback thrash" wave that has been coming out is getting on my nerves. Death Magnetic was terrible, Endgame was low quality for megadeth, World Painted Blood just isn't to the standard of the first few albums. At least one band has been able to make a good comeback: Exodus. Their new music is better than their old stuff. Stuff like 44 Magnum Opus and War is my Sheppard blow away most thrash.

I think this album is the best thing Kreator has done since the 80's. After 'Violent revolution' and 'Enemy of god' (which are still good albums mind you) I expected this album to be more of the same but I think this really is a new level of brutality. The riffs are better. The songs are better, more varied and dynamic. The production is better and Mille has never sounded this pissed off in his life. They finally got rid of that industial/goth ghost that has been haunting them.

I enjoy Metallica. Kirk has some good riffs, I quite like James voice, and they're a very good band for clear rhythm/lead combos. But compared to the heavier and wilder thrash sounds of bands like Kreator, Slayer, Sodom, and the like, I find them a bit dull. And, of course, they lost a lot of quality after "Justice". I quite like Death Magnetic, but they went downhill. Puppets and Lightning will always be solid albums, though.

Man Kreator fuckin rocks. derrickwhitedevil pretty much put it all in perfect words. Metallica isnt heavy or aggressive enough for most people who like rough and agressive bands. Most of Metallica's softness comes from how Lars's drumming is. he is somewhat weak in a sense. You can hardly pay atteniton to his drumming. Its terrible. His most valuable trade is his cymbal work. Other than that. He sucks. Kreator has the best damn riffs ever
