Santana's El nino is a pretty good horse with some awesome breeding (Generators Santana) Though I would not call him the best I've ever seen his head set would match up with horses like Dark Spirits Rebel though I will admit I too was cheering for Rowdy Rev.

I can promise you that this horse was and is 1000000% sound in every way, He has NEVER been turned down by any DQP or a Government VMO, he has PERFECT feet and is as sound as outside. In 06' when they didn't have a WGC he still went thru the Gov. inspection and won the 15.2 WGC flawlessly also. This is one of the greatest TWH's EVER to live and IS the FUTURE of this breed.

I like El Nino he can walk just like his sire Santana could. This year I would like to see Rowdy Rev win the Grand Championship but it will probably be the Coach because theres more money backing him than Rowdy Rev just my thoughts on the subject .

This is what a walking horse is all about and the future of out breed. no better horse could of won the stake.

no PGA doesnt really have exactly what it takes to win it not saying he isn't a good horse just saying the best horse in my eyes is Gen On The Run.PGA would be a great amature horse. And in 02 when seve(PGA's Sire) got 3rd i thought he sould have one.

OH WOW are you serious? GOTR made only ONE good show this year that was the toney Rice stake. IMO I feel the same way about GOTR as you do PGA, I just don't think GOTR is a stake horse. But I hope Link will have good luck with GOTR this season. But We should really all know who the winner will be. like him or not it will be no surprise that The coach will more than likly win the Roses, I think PGA will get 2nd or 3rd based on what I saw at the international when Callaway got him back Joel. JMHO

The coach should win.I do agree with you on that one.Every show that i went to last season he did great except for the red carpet show he seemed off, but he still won the four year old class.

How are you related to the Jones'? I LOVE this horse always have. First time i remember seeing him was the Shelbyville Band Show about 3 years ago. He made an Absolutely FLAWLESS show, since then I was one of his biggest fans.. i can't wait to get some colts off him.

Pistol took 3rd in the O/A pony class Main Power was 2nd and Indy 500 was 1st

RR screwed up several times. Not to mention his head stuck out and cramped backend. He was nowhere near Link's horse.

Yeah, I went to TN rooting for Rowdy and half way through it was clear that he just wasn't going to win that night. I'm no professional trainer, just seems he needed to be a little more square and he would have been a force to reckon with! But I think the top three were awesome horses and did a great job.

Another small horse that I liked last year was Packin A Pistol. He was so small but could walk his butt off. I would not have chosen him for the champion, but as far as small horses go, he was awesome.

I have not ever been a fan of a little horse but El Nino was the best in the class not doubt,...... He came in walking and never let up. Gotta have a big motor and heart to do that. Just call me the "New fan" of the little horse. LOL

I was hoping Rowdy Rev would come back this year and take it, but he was not quite square enough. I was terribly dissapointed. But yeah, El Nino was awesome!
