Yes I have, I own one. And a friend has one as well. They top out at 200 KPH, limited by the car's ECU. If you visit the 08 accord owners forums you will see the same from other owners scattered aroud the US and Canada.

What this car needs is a turbo charger. To get its power from 200 to around 230hp. But mainly it needs a turbo for getting torque on low revs. This car goes very fast, hell, manual 0-100kmh in 7,2 seconds and 0-160kmh in 16 seconds is faster than BMW 325i....but it only has power above 4000 rpm so it doesnt feel like 200hp on normal driving.

ohhhhhhhh, i didnt really count gears, i just tought it was 6 gears :).

But anyway very nice acceleration for so long gears, manual should be much faster then.

also i would like to add that manual should theoreticly have higher top speed because of shorter 6th gear. Why is that so? Well, as we can see when you reached 245km/h at 7500rpm in 5th, it shifted to 6th gear and went down to around 5300 rpm. With manual it would only put it down to 6000-6200 rpm, so it would stay closer to the spot with max HP, and so it would achieve higher speed. But, i think automatic gearbox is also able to reach higer that 255 after some time. Probably around 262-263.

Hoping to replace my 5 year old renault laguna 3.0 v6 with this car, and this seems MUCH quicker, altough I would pick manual, because, lets face it, theres no need for auto-transmision in honda which definetly has the best manual gearbox in its class ^^. hehe, just joking, i guess you like auto better. But anyway, freaking impressive acceleration and top speed for auto-gearbox 200hp, 2 tons heavy car. Im especialy impressed with acceleration betwen 120 and 190 km/h. amazing :P
