I'm an American who is grateful that my Jamaican mother sent me to Jamaica almost every summer when I was a child to spend time with family and know my roots!!
@pearpeas Like he said in the interview his parents were Jamaicans and he was born in Brooklyn but spent his formative years in St Ann Jamaica. He gives thanks for the positive influences growing up in Jamaica then had on his life... like so many other great people in the world.
Yeah. Apparently you missed the entire interview....even at the very end he referred to "Abukkah" that tiny district in deep rural south St. Ann where he grew up. Harry always speak highly and fondly of Abukkah, St. Ann, Jamaica...
Big Ups To All The Great Jamaicans. and Big Ups To Jamaica The Land of my Birth. Jamaica is very Powerfull and also means alot of Great Things such as the fact that JAH is THE Maker and Jah Made Here ,,,Jah Mek Ya ,,,Therefore with The Power of Jah Jah The Creator: Jamaicans have the Power of Speech riddle, rhymes, parables, poetry, music, songs and psalms. History Mystery & Prophecy.
lukkee2006 amazing video. Im actually still living in Jamaica and im so proud to be born here. We might not be a wealthy country, but we are certainly blessed with arguably the most beautiful country on earth. Such a small country with so many talented people that have made their mark on the world.
Jamaica is the most beautiful mass of land on earth...Yes, we have our problems, but the beauty of our island abounds and is beyond breathtaking...Jamaica can't be described in words...It has to be experienced...After that, you'll be hooked for life.
Hi Zenadina, it was edited from a compilation of interviews done by my company for our Island Stylee show over the years. The edit was done in February of this year just to circulate and assist in promoting well being amongst our people. It is not available on DVD but feel free to share the link.
You should consider a compilation that's for sale. You have touched a lot of people. There are also a lot of educational institutions and libraries that should purchase this type of material. I am sick of looking for the Caribbean only to find tourist type material. This oculd be another "Life + Debt" DVD.
I got a little teary eye; I'm so proud to be a Jamaican and the part that we have done to shape history all over the world. Great video, love it!! I miss Jamaica.
