What a fantastic melody. Certainly, my favorite from the game in question; your rendition, however, is... very relaxing. Soothing, even. I particularly enjoyed the part around 2:20.

And listening to you makes me think back on when I was younger and enjoyed the game and became happy by playing it, and I remember myself just sitting and listening to the music in the game.

This score in the album "KOEI Game Music Works Kanno Yoko Collections". And it's a album every fan should have. All music rearranged beautifully and it features 5 music from New Horizon (I think. It's been a while since I played New Horizon so I have forgotten some of the music).

Anyway, it has "Catalina", "Mast in a Mist", " Portugal", "Princess Chris", and "The Chase" (remember the music during ship battle?). Heheh...

And copet80, that was an awesome play! Wish I could play like that!

By the way thanks for everything. Yoko Kanno always has been my favourite composer since Macross Plus. Uncharted Waters has been my favourite album since I found it on Napster many years ago. But I never really paid attention to Mast in the Mist till today. Seems like you got many people interested in Uncharted Waters again, and some are actually playing it. So great job sir, you have brought joy to some people's lives, at least mine.

3 days before the new year, I chanced upon this wonderful recital of the Uncharted Waters theme. In this day of fast communication and faster gratification, I watched the whole performance, entranced; then, all bemused, I sat down and composed a mail to my friends, attaching this clip to them and telling them how much they mean to me. You see, i was 1 of those 3 boys; 1 of my friends is the navy captain, the other works in a big investment company.
