  • Dodger is the most awesome girl gamer ever :]

  • TB made a more recent solo video of this series on his channel about Section 8: Predjudice. He explained it was hard to do more because of the guests schedules as well as his own.

  • You are low on mana

    Your creatures are under attack

    Your creatures are dying

    Invalid target

    Your altar is being desecrated

    Need more souls

  • The guy who voice acts Eldred also did Caleb from Blood and Blood 2

  • all your fanboyish / fangirl squeals over the voice acting was hilarious...

by the way Eldred... is voiced by the Colonel from Metal Gear = Paul Eiding.

  • Anyone else search "Sacrifice totalbiscuit" and giggle a bit?

  • I love how you boast about the amazing voice acting, but then make sure we can't hear it because you won't SHUT THE FUCK UP.

  • I want to see more games like this so bad! Such a great RTS experience.

  • It's appalling that a game like this doesn't sell yet mainstream FPS games sell like crazy.

  • Elred who is played by Paul Eiding also did Roy campbell in mgs series, U.S President in MW3, Gary stoneman in syphon filter, In Skyrim Galmar Stone Fist / Septimus / Felldir, Starcraft Judicator Aldaris, Starcraft 2 Protoss Advisor, The overmind, and, many many others

  • All of your manahoars have been slaughtered.

    God I love that line.

  • i fucking love this game!!

  • oo this game. Have the orginal box back home, it was a good game. Remember a competition when they when they released the game. You had to describe how you would "sacrifice" you computer. Then if you won you had to do it and won a new computer

  • Well, makes sense that Pyro would have the same voice as the maruader from SC2. I think the firebat as well, come to think of it.

  • one of the best games I ever played. Also always first thing I install on fresh windows :)

  • I loved sacrifice. It's awesome that you like it too :D

  • i guess if this got more views there would have been more sad though

  • Woah, nostalgia blast!

  • 3:57 is that panda king from xiolin showdown loads of other things too i'm sure but thats where i recognise the voice

  • i been playing this game for YEARS this got me into gaming

  • Would be cool if you just see totalbiscuit online :D

  • is this game free? in that case where do i get it?

    And where is episode 2?

  • ive been in there, where 1 god aint mad to me and i tryed to ninja the whole shit but failed

  • That "you're creatures are under attack" sounds like Prof Oak from Pokemon.

  • I remember watching this and being totally bored, and now that I have more of an understanding of TGS, Dodger and TB, I loved it!

  • its a perfect irony that the best series TB has made is a nice thing we can't have >_<

  • So, what happened to this series? thats why we cant have nice things :l

  • @MascarabrM a new episode of it was released today.

  • Stratos? Bah, fuck that! Be Pyro and KILL IT WITH FIIIREEEEEE!!!!!

  • Why does this only have 157,494 views? Come on man, Toatal Biscuit and Dodger!!

  • I wonder if TB would get to make a Battlezone 2 video. I'm sure he's forgotten most of what he talked about in this video xD

  • I remember playing this with my cousin and using earth bore for the first time.... o.O

  • I love this game and I'm glad TB made video of it ^^ TB has always been awesome and shame that game didn't sell :(

  • this game kicks so much ass it's legs smell permanently of shit

  • sacrificeplanet(.)net/

    sacrificeplanet(.)net/files/manual_patching.zip

A great group of Saccers are still active!! Come join us now!

  • Just letting you all know that until July 4th this game is on sale for just 2,99 on GOG.com; DRM-free and packed with extras. Best value for it on the Internet, imo :)

  • First TB I ever watched.

  • When I was in wood shop in 7th grade the teacher was using sacrifice disks as wheels for wood cars...Thanks god I stole a few copies of it, it's awesome!

  • NOSTALGIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • This is, simply, a really great game.

  • I played this game so long ago and it is so FUN!

    Manahoars :)

  • i remember this game.

  • I actually had this game but I was kinda young then, didnt really play it.

  • It's on Steam!

  • @russell55541 Yes, but does the original developers, get the money from Steam sales? I'm interested in knowing that :/

  • @themrfj That's not exactly what I meant, I know that not all money goes to the developers normally, but I am especially concerned with this game, considering the companies story... Who even owns the rights for the game? :/

  • One of the best game ever!

  • omg i have nostalgia bonr right now

  • Really loved this game and I'm glad that I found a video for it on the gamestation

  • Kinda reminds me of Brutal Legend battles

  • keybinding this game is a ritual

i keybind like more than 12 spells and summons is loco not even Bloodline Champions have so many keys

  • Roy fucking Campbell.

  • I just loved this game and tried to get my friends into it...:/

  • WdF? Shamwows hahaha

  • OH I PLAYED THIS

  • Sacrifice is one of the best games ever!

  • played this when i was younger and replayed after seeing it here and noticed that it is alot harder than i remember. I really don't know how I beat it when i was younger.

  • One of my favorites, I still play it now and again, yeah this game came out when everybody was still playing Nintendo64

    Read the wikipedia page,

==>"The bulk of the work was done by a small team. Game designer Eric Flannum, formerly of Blizzard Entertainment, recalls that there were only three other key personnel: two programmers and an animator."

    ONLY 4 GUYS!

Also the way the graphics engine works was really revolutionary

  • kind if reminds me of brutal legend, the third-person-strategysh gameplay

  • Game is kind of like Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2.

  • I was not very happy with my performance this day. There was way too many trolls around to properly consentrate.

  • @TotalHailbut True words, Halibut....That's why we can't have nice things

  • thumbs up for sacrifice esports!!!!

  • Whaa...? The WoW graphics?!

  • @TotalHalibut well played good sir :P

  • LINE FORMATION! GUARD ME!

  • OMG ... this is so epic ... TB commenting one of my favorite games of all time.

Bought it straight when it came out and the box still has a special place on top of my closet :D

  • This game was so fucking epic. i bought it when it came out.

  • @ScaryGothicGamers Where can you buy it? and for how much in dollars (just in case)

  • @Klibble2212 dude this games like 10 years old. try a flea market

  • Paul Eiding is bloody amazing as well.

  • :' ( this game is so awesome im going to buy this!!!

    voice acting is ridiculously amazing

Casting Dodger and TB is just too much awesome for one video:O

  • ! This game has cool graphics ...... its really mad in 2000 ???? o.O just wow !! ....plus TotalBiscuit makes every video cool and funny to watch ! Keep up the good work mate!

  • Wow I remember spending so much time online on this..

    Good times.

  • hehe i played that game before and it was Awesome....i miss my childhod ^_^

  • This video made me become a fan of PHTC, thank you TGS.

  • sigh...I remember playing this game when I was about 9. Geez this was a nostalgic moment.

    *sniff* sniff*

  • totalbiscuit has the fuckin epic win voice, hes just godlike^^

  • @flAmez0033 what about Don LaFontaine?

  • I used to watch my dad play this game.

I could only do the first level because they didn't fight back.

Might install it in a bit actually. Hmmmm...

  • is that a flying dick? 34:00?

  • LOL ShamWoW ad!

  • I like your enthusiasm about voice acting, it really is the best I ever heard :)

I'd warn any new player though: don't try to learn from the skirmish game in this vid...so many mistakes there (watch eberabio's channel to see how it SHOULD be played).

One more thing: the online Sacrifice community is great, a lot of of nice and kind fellas there! No smack talk, no noob calling. always ready to give a newcomer a warm welcome. (If you heard otherwise, it's just a grave misunderstanding, really!)

  • Hahaha fun review, although not well played xD.. For everyone who is interested in Sacrifice -> go visit my youtube channel, I got lots of Sacrifice related videos there.. otherwise you might just check out Sacrificeplanet(dot)net which unfortunately has been damaged by hackers, but is being rebuilt atm ! And do remember that.. Sleep sux, Sac rulz !

  • where can i get this game?

  • Also, check out sacrificeplanet(dot)net for info on how to play multiplayer, or PM me!

  • I got Sacrifice on good old games(dot) com for 6$. Unlimited DLs, + all extras like the manual and official map packs. If you are considering Sacrifice, I recommend getting it from there!

  • I recommend everybody buy Sacrifice and update it when you log into the internet. It is a great game and there is a good community of old veterans. Lately, there's been an influx of new players. This game is 10 years old now and is still holding strong. It is better than most modern games and is a creative gem. --Sacrifice Online Veteran-- [Savage_Aztek]

  • Omg pressheart 2 continue + TB ftw

  • This isn't the first time Tim Curry and Tony Jay have worked together.

  • GO BUY BLACK AND WHITE!!!!

  • I played this a long long time ago. good memories

  • EA's Battle forge is VERY similar to this game. its a bit heavier in the rts due to the fact you dont have that 3rd person view but i strongly suggest if you like this game to check it out.

  • Where do i download this?!

  • made beyond good & evil, it´s way too unknown

  • Hey I was curious about Stratos's voice. Did Tim Curry use any editing or was that his original voice?

  • looks AWESOME!

  • TB, ReBoot complete series coming to DVD in 2011.

    We must begin the campaign!

  • You guys should totally look into Grim Fandango.

  • i absolutely love this game.. bought it when it was released, and played it a tons back in the day.. also, the level editor is freaking awesome!

  • Tony Jay did Magtheridon in world of warcraft as well ^^

  • Woah! Nice game! I'll have to try that!

  • Stratos's voice actor is fking amazing. Gave me goosebumps

  • I have this game and completed it with many different god combinations. A very good game but few people to play against online. :)

  • SIngleMuslim really?

  • @TotalHalibut

    Oooh the wonders of research

And by the way, yes that was a pretty dumb comment T_T

But hey, at least ill research more shiz next time, so there you go.

  • whaaat i didn't even notice that it's 34 mins

  • pls make a earth worm jim feature!!!

    that would be so nice!

  • WONDERFUL SERIES!

    MOAR!

  • Tim Curry=Overmind? Oh my lord.

  • @Loorlgh While that would awesome, it was the Pyro dude they were talking about. Can't for the life of me remember his name, though.

  • Paul Eiding is a voice in practically everything. Love that man.

  • If i'm not completely off base, i believe that fire-god-dude did some voicing for Baldurs Gate,(not sure which) as the narrator, at least in a cutscene or two.

  • Great thing... wish I played it at its time.

  • Lauding Tim Curry, but not Paul Eiding? I am very disappoint.

  • This game still kicks ass

  • where can i get this game????????????????

  • isnt tim curry in brutal legend as well?

  • @bigludo22

Yup. Emperor Doviculus, i believe is his character in Brutal Legend. though not overly sure though.

  • @Deathwolf170 just found out hes in dragon age - origins as well, he plays arl howe

  • only tim curry could be so good as to make knowledge sound sexy :)

yeah my comp back then would have exploded running this game, so so sad

  • Great game but I never finished it, hell I couldn't even get past the 7th missions....

  • Another classic i never got around to:(

  • I would like a video on battle zone 2. I love that game.

  • Just bought it

  • The letterbox is completely obnoxious.

Don't you guys realize that most monitors aren't wide-screen?

  • brutal legend was DEFINENTLY reminiscant of this

  • I still have the shining, original CD here in its beautiful box (yeah, CD, you guys remember that? CD GAMES? xD)

I remember my PC couldn't run it, I had to wait MONTHS until I could play it, not knowing how AWESOME it was. The wait was damn worth it.

  • Now i have to dig in my closet to play this again! There goes my week. Thanks TB and PressHeart

  • re installing now

  • i watched this video awhile ago and it made me play this game again, finished the campaign a few times now, definately good times. thx for posting this!

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my god TB, that game was amazing. I was bummed when i got it, because there was noone really playing multiplayer at the time. Thanks for bringing this back, I might actually dig my copy up and play it again :)

  • This is the best thing on TheGameStation. Hands down.

  • Total biscuit has an awesome voice :P

  • @JthemasterT Agreed! He could totally dub one of the Gods =]

  • I absolutely loved Sacrifice :)

  • BATTLEZONE! FUCK ME I LOVED THAT GAME!!...and I just realized I haven't even tried the 2nd...

  • who still plays this cmon guys

  • @imgoodatmakingnames People who enjoy good gameplay and not graphics?

  • @TurbineInvoker you might have misunderstood me i wanted to find people to play with i might have worded it wrong

  • @TurbineInvoker i personally LOVE this game and think its very polished for a game made in 2000

  • bought it becuase of this video... amazing game

  • Narrator...um...THE NARRATOR FROM BOTH DIABLO GAMES??? o.O

Love both you guys to death, but epic fail on that call, kiddies. :^)

  • such an under-appreciated game, such a shame overall, it is truly epic and a lot of fun

  • Do Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.

Best game ever but was slathered with epic fail on sales, leading to the developers going under and never granting us a sequel... *sniff*

  • @scullyreno The publishers forced a too early release of the game before it was even finished, leading to a game filled with bugs. The bugs were then fixed by fans however.

  • @scullyreno yeah i have to agree, that was a good one.

  • Lets see... amazing games that didn't sell all that well... I'd go with Planescape: Torment next =D

  • Love this Idea for videos. I bought the game from GOG. Thanks for he recommendation.

  • Also, the Bovine Intervention is actually very nice watching a giant bovine fly up into the sky, does a "back flip!," and dive into a poor creature creating a giant wave that knocks ground units down.

  • You should have shown the big spell like Tornado or Volcano or that thing before Bovine Intervention. Those are really impressive.

  • My God... This game was the BOMB! =D

  • Brutal Legend's also n RTS in this style (except the general characters in Brutal legend aren't as squishy as in Sacrifice)

  • holy shit, dont know if its been mentioned yet in the comments but tim curry also played skullmaster in mighty max. i recognized that instantly lol

  • Dunno if you take suggestions here, or at all, but how about NOX for next "Why We Can`t Have Nice Things"? Or next after that...or after that too.

  • I LOVE THIS GAME!!

  • woah i played this game when i was 9!! holly crap this is TIGHT man this brings back so many memories haha

  • The main characters voice actor is also Aldaris from Starcraft 1 is it not?

  • I remember this game, one of the underdogs that deserved the spot light but just never got it. In fact I think ill go dig up my cd's and give it another go through!

  • @Droniac It's strange, but those are the only two games I remember from that era of PC games. I honestly have no clue what games were the cause of Giants and Sacrifice not selling very well. I used to think it was Giants that took away Sacrifice's thunder (mostly because Giants got a lot more attention from PC Gamer back then compared to Sacrifice), but you're correct. Neither game sold very well, even though they were both great games.

  • I fucking love this game, played it when it first came out all those years ago and still play it now when I feel that urge which no other game will satisfy! mmmmmm....

  • ah nostalgic memories! I didn't play it much at all, but it gave me an impression that I still remember. it was a unique game and still is!

  • @TotalHalibut that is a good point, and I would if not for being broke. in-order to give a proper teaser / taste of the voice acting then just show clips of it at full volume instead of yelling over a wispier that your viewers (the 'we' that I spoke of) could not hear without hearing damage when the commentators came back in.

  • Fyi:

"Giants: Citizen Kabuto" is definitely worth reviewing. It is a statue of a game, totally underrated. Partly because no one had the system specs to run it properly back then I guess.

  • I have to absolutely totally agree with the troll Strand0410.

PHTC just doesn't have that much credibility or knowledge about games that are actually played by the public that has played games like Sacrifice. Or SC2. Or WoW. They, (we) are elitist snobs (read: cocks) who think we are better than the casual-gamers since casual gaming is for idiots, and is utterly boring.

However, I don't agree that PHTC is "just a cute girl" since she has brains and to be frank, she's not ~that~ good looking.

  • @mistervanderveer 1: Dodger isn't a casual gamer.

2: casual gaming can be fun sometimes, especially when someone does not have the time to play HC as they have a real life, which you definitely do not.

  • @Tsugirai Hahahaha.

    Oh boy.

Another fat guy who thinks everyone who plays HC (I reckon that stands for hardcore? Im not that familiar with nerd terms as yourself.) is a nerd.

Dude, you do know its not the 80's anymore and not every gamer is a fucking fat retard with huge glasses.

Naive, stupid, insecure, and whenever in doubt or simply inept to argue, just play the "OMG NO LIFE NERD LOLOL"-card. You suck at gaming, and at commenting. Oh and by the way, what does "having a life" mean?

  • @mistervanderveer I don't really know where you get your info, but you have got it ALL wrong. Man, at least you could have score one point. -.- I am not fat, actually quite the opposite, but we aren't talking about my weight now. I don't wear glasses. I suck at gaming? How can you possibly know? I might suck at commenting, but you suck deep and hard at reasoning, or even guessing. What does having a life mean? Well, I cannot explain metaphysics to a gibbon, I am deeply sorry... :P
