I like your enthusiasm about voice acting, it really is the best I ever heard :)

I'd warn any new player though: don't try to learn from the skirmish game in this vid...so many mistakes there (watch eberabio's channel to see how it SHOULD be played).

One more thing: the online Sacrifice community is great, a lot of of nice and kind fellas there! No smack talk, no noob calling. always ready to give a newcomer a warm welcome. (If you heard otherwise, it's just a grave misunderstanding, really!)

I recommend everybody buy Sacrifice and update it when you log into the internet. It is a great game and there is a good community of old veterans. Lately, there's been an influx of new players. @Droniac It's strange, but those are the only two games I remember from that era of PC games. I honestly have no clue what games were the cause of Giants and Sacrifice not selling very well. I used to think it was Giants that took away Sacrifice's thunder (mostly because Giants got a lot more attention from PC Gamer back then compared to Sacrifice), but you're correct. Neither game sold very well, even though they were both great games.
