  • I would rather have a RINO any day over the racist, homophobic, angry, frothing, gun-toting, anti-abortion, selfish, dangerous, religious shouting idiots such as the Tea Party, the far Christian right of the Republican establishment, Fox News, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, George Bush, etc. These people are bigots, selfish, bat-shit crazy, liars, arrogant & they are going to destro America. The far-right Conservative & Tea Party movement has to be stopped!

  • I love how sooooo many people flip out over satire they don't understand.

  • Yeah, call for segregated buses it's satire. Call the NFL racist because a player is good it's satire. Say that black people are 8 percent of the US population "WHO CARES?" it's satire. Grow a pair and face the fact that the guy is a racist and a bigot.

  • Thanks for proving my point. You don't understand the quote about McNabb, you think he called the NFl racist?? You hear what you want to hear, because in that quote I heard him say that IN HIS OPINION the MEDIA was over-rating McNabb because of his skin color, now I don't agree with that, its controversial, and provocative, but people flip their shit over it. The segregated buses quote was based on a newsweek story that said white people are born racist, so he used satire to make a joke of it.

  • The newsweek article wasn't racist. It just presented some findings about how human beings recognise the difference in their skin at an early age. It wasn't about racism with all the hate and bigotry that you can find in society today. Certainly not as racist as Rush "satire" is.

  • I'M NOT SAYING THE NEWSWEEK ARTICLE WAS RACIST. Your analysis is right about the article, and rush took that article and the title "are you babies born racist" and made a sarcastic joke about it. Look I know you'll never get it because it was the word white and black and segregated and buses and those combined just have to be racist... Those words can't be funny together because Dbags get offended, well cry me a river.

  • I was driving when I heard this on the radio. Never laughed so hard while driving; great quote, great timing.

  • whats a rhino?

  • Thank you Rush...

Lets make that 23% of people who identify themselves as republicans even lower.

  • 40% of people consider themselves conservative, 20% consider themselves liberal.

  • thats from the same ABC/Washington Post poll i think...

conservative and liberal are not synonymous with republican and democrat.

The poll I was referring to was the ABC/Washington Post poll, which showed that only 20% identify themselves as republicans.

40% of the country says they are conservative, and yet only 20% want anything to do with the republicans

And while only 20% think of themselves as liberals, 35% think of themselves as democrats

  • anyone else will be the cry in 2012 anyway.

  • given the empirical evidence for the lack of support for the republican party, isnt it odd that Rush's advice is to move further to the right?

After all, it was Mccains move to the right that might have cost him the election.

Basic logic suggests that a non-inclusive party is going to dwindle in numbers...

And republicans have not only narrowed their view points and base...they are also clearly out of touch with reality...which is why indeps are running from them...

  • mccains move to the right cost him the election? seriously?. mccain was NEVER LEADING before Palin. I don't understand your logic. The only time McCain was winning was after Palin and then the economy tanked, her bad interviews.. McCain would of lost worse if he picked Lieberalman.

  • Mccain moved to the right after he won the nomination...

He literally flipped on positions such as tax cuts for the richest, torture etc...

I never said he was leading...what i should have said was that it cost him a shot at the presidency...

but i agree, it was palins nomination that put the nail in the coffin...

i hope shes nominated in 2012

  • I never said Palin cost him the elction, if anything she made it closer. You're living in your bubble, it doesn't matter who runs in 12. I hope she runs in 12 as well. After 3 years of dithering on energy and corruption were gonna need a PROVEN reformer who has blown the whistle on BOTH parties and is for energy independence with an all of the above approach. the man child experiment will be over.

  • ur parrotting Rush's talking points and im living in the bubble?

Palin got the BASE behind Mccain. But the rest of the country was laughing...

I would argue with you...but i want you to keep thinking the way you do.

I want you to keep it up, cuz its only gonna cost ur side more elections...

  • BS & based on a faulty poll. Read more than 1 current poll, dont cherry pick. A solid majority supports heathcare reform w/ pub opt (61%) & trust Dems more than Repubs with the war/ economy/ and health care reform. Flox pushed this meme since after the election (that the US is really a very conservative nation (ignoring the last 2 elections & polls since then). To an extremist (like Flush) everyone seems like a socialist. By definition, the majority of the population cannot be the extremists.

  • 20% consider themselves liberal?

    false

  • Hey Newt, have you moved out the country yet. Or better yet, just change you political party to democrat. That's where your worthless ass belongs.
