Moto GP is a second class series compared to the original 500 GP series. If your a race fan do you watch IRL or Formula 1 ? Today's riders are just as talented as any, however they are racing around on 1000cc + over weight and under powered second class four stroke motors. What a waste of time! By the end of their tenure, 2002, the 500cc engines were producing upwards of 200 hp using only half the displacement and at a fraction of the weight. Four stroke? Really? YAWWWWWWWNNNNN.

@TheBayliss155 And to answer your question about Laguna Seca, it is because AMA runs their races on the same weekend as Moto GP. so, Moto2 dropped it from the schedule to allow more track time in practice and warm up for all the other events that take place that weekend. I was only 15 feet away when German Cristian Kellner was almost decapitated by a bike on the end chicane at assen, It was during the world supersport 600 race .

Kellner had lady luck 1 inch above his helmet but the marshall kneeling down attending a fallen rider had his legs broken when several other riders became victims of the original blown engine oil spill, all involved were extremely lucky not to have lost their lives.
