Yeah too bad. They wanted something "original", and this uses Mozart's Lacrimosa, so it's pre-existing material. I think it was a bad decision, because the music currently used in the Narnia movie makes it even cornier.

They only used Lacrymosa because of its mix of classical and "modern rock" music. The series (series, not movie.) shows a different perspective on this specific period in history. And the mixing of these two sounds captures what this series wants to display: The youth and fire in the reign of Henry VIII that was forgotten. Yes, using this song was a very good choice. But the music does not define how well this portrayal of the man's life will be carried out. We have only to wait and see.
