I know this is a late comment but

I've ridden western for about 8 wks now and I could NEVER remember how to do the cinch

I usually ride my horse Western but havn't since last summer when I fell off and kind of got scared of them.. But Im going this upcoming sunday to ride again. I just wanted to sayyour horse is a beautiful quarter/paint. In the english video, is that horse a paint or pinto? It was really gorgeous aswell ^^

it is a spray that you on your horse and it helps loosen their muslces so that you dont have to trot or jog as much, you should only really use it in the winter

There is a better way if your horse wont take a bit instead of pressure points if you stick your finger through the back of his lip where there is no teeth and wiggle your finger it tickles his tounge and he will open his mouth.

dudeee i wish my horse let me pick out her feet like he lets you! ohmygosh i spend like 20 min no lie just getting the front two done. the backs are no problem but she just does not want anyone to touch her front feet. i know there is a certain way that when you pick it up you slightly twist it so they dont like stomp it down but i forgot which way to twist it ha

have you tried pushing up on her so that she puts her weight on the other leg, and if that doesnot work my trainer used to do this, you take the horse pick and you like stabbed her not to hard like under her ankle, my old old old trainer showed me that but i only had to do it once

yes, many times but i do lean away so i can examine her foot and pick it out good but my farrier does that same thing with the stabbing under her ankle, but im never there to see so are you supposed to do that when shes standing on all four or when you have her foot, cuz if its when you have her foot, i would have to do it really fast. she like stomps her foot down and puts the most weight she can on it, shes so difficult!

or you could have somw one pick her right back leg up if you are trying to pick her front left, it cause her to balance her weight and if she does feel like she is falling then let go , that works too

my horse sometimes pulls away and I'm prepared for it so when she does I lift her foot up really high like almost to her stomach and hold it til she stops...it works for me idk if it will for you cuz some horses are different...I hope you find a way that helps you :)

yeah i tried that but then she puts her weight all on me and then starts jerking her foot really hard and its like rawr shelby! haha

when she does that i smack my horse in the shoulder, it is kinda hurts your hand, but he stops that though, you should try that when she jerks it away just smack her

LOL, nice going around the horse with a cup on it's butt. This is a very good video. It usually takes me longer, but that's just because I have a back cinch, and breast collar. Very good video though.

Wow it takes me way longer, because when I go to bridle my horse half the time she doesn't open her mouth...All the gelding's and studs I know are just fine with taking the bit...Great video though...awesome...100%
