OMG I USE THE SAME EXACT POMADE AT 0:18. Always use it in wet hair (obviously), unless you want to hurt the crap out of yourself. im gonna bring back the greaser wardrobe in my school. im tired of all these wiggers.

i have thick hair.. its HARD TO make a POMPfor me! (usually take like 40 mins to get close!)

what do you say when you go to the barber?

when i get a good pomp the hair gets a bit long so when i cut it it kills it all!

btw i use Johnny b. hair gel thick like the grease and it comes off the first time! woot!

Well you probably have a hard time because of the product you use bro ! Thick hair makes for a great pomp!

Try Layrite pomade it washes out like gel but holds like wax..

Or you can try Axe pomade I just discovered it myself it holds excellent but washes out easy.

o btw Murray's is not what greasers use its straight up Vaseline for a true blue greaser.

Well Greasers can use whatever they please, but we prefer real hair Grease and not Vaseline. Gel is also an alternative.

i try to make myself a pompadour but my hair doesnt go back i brush and brush it and brush it and it doesnt stick back only using a lot of murrays but thats is EXTREMELY greasy wich i hate cause i cant even move my face!!

Well actually what defines Greasers is the hair, and of course the clothes, and there love for mechanics. Your thinking of rockers who have pomps. Theirs sort of a difference. But actually one (ore two) small tats like Terry has, isn't that bad for a Greaser. Now a whole sleeve of tats is bad for the Greasers slick look and cool look.

I don't Agree my own father was an original greaser and he was covered in tats just like all his buddy's. Now we are from the south so maybe thats a Yankee thing. We also spend more time under a hood then we do our own beds. Most people who see my pomp give me a uncool look i pomp cause its what i like im not worried what others think. sometimes people love it and say they do other times i am asked where my 57 Chevy is.
