  • She can not stop at her pitch

  • she did a bolk wow wow and the they strike her out wow

  • keep it up!!

  • @Froggies1315 In California they start kid pitch in 8U. They offer coach pitch/T-Ball in 6U. The kid gets 7 pitches or 3 strikes. If the batter does not hit witin 7 pitches the T comes out. She was really 6 in that video. Check out her current stuff, she is 10 now. We moved to TX recently. She just pitched the USSSA 10U TX State Championship a month ago. We leave next week to Florida to compete for the USSSA National Championship.

  • @SuperCrAzYgUrL02 yes. she is

  • When i was seven i hit off th epitching machine not no personN!!! lmaoo

  • Im a pitcher and no feelings ment 2 b hurt!!! She is jumping off the mound and not dragging her foot so techinally she is throwing a illegal pitch!!!! i am just letting u kno so wen she gets older she can b bettr than she already is!!!!!! She is really good for a 7 yr old!!!!!!! Dani ur an awesum pitcher!!!!!!!!!

  • @JJJobson shes crow hopping. its a legal pitch. and her toe is facing downwards and dragging :)

  • @JJJobson The umps let it slide a little back in recball. It was the beginning of the season and it was still kid/coach pitch. She has fixed her delivery.

  • @JJJobson Hey Rick! This Comment was from my 13yr old! LOL!!! U know, she at that age were she knows it all now! Dani is a very good pitcher!

  • She is a GREAT pitcher! Not many people in my league can pitch that well, wow. If she continues to do a hop thing, some umps call that, since that happened to me.

  • @Minkeydooda This video was from 2006 we have since fixed the hop.

  • Yes, back when she was playing 8u in 06.

  • What is this, rec ball?

  • shes hopping off the mound! when she gets older i would work on that! but otherwise for a kid her age shes really good!!!!

  • crow hop..? :S

  • Everything looks good but they would definitely call that little hop that she does an illegal pitch. We play ASA here in our neck of the woods. Keep up the good work, things like that can definitely be fixed.

  • ...I play 12u softball. I have been playing for 5 years and in 8u it's coach pitch...sooo idk what kind of league this is because I didn't pitch until 10u!

  • @TarheelRockstar me 2 i pitch now and that hop that she has can be fixed (sry that last part had nothing to do with what tarheelrockstar said...)

  • @iSaBeLlA5lolz Heyy this is TarheelRockstar on my new account! cmbtwffle! Just wanted to let u know!

  • @cmbtwffle This was a long time ago, it has been fixed.

  • @TarheelRockstar same here!

  • definatley not 45mph!!!!

  • @juicylove011 Hater! You wish you could pitch...

  • As soon as I saw it I knew once I read the comments someone would go on about the crow hop...yes it is a crow hop, no doubt and yes she balked as well.... but she's SEVEN YEARS OLD! Most 7 year olds roll ball in this girl struck out the batter with 3 pitches. 3 HARD PITCHES. By the time umpires are calling crow hopping & balking (10u) she'll have already fixed it. She looks great.

  • Good job!!!

  • Thank you!

  • yup ive seen girls pitch 45 to 50 plus shes nowhere near that .does she throw any junk or straight down the middle? ive seen slower pitchers strike girls out just on junk speeds not everything .

  • This was the first game she ever pitched in back when she was still six years old. She is on another level now. I's been three years.

  • crow hopping for sure

  • The ump did not call her on it. so I guess it's not a crow hop.

  • @qwikvr6gti the ump didn't call her for crow hopping because this is 8U . But they will start calling it when she is about 12 or older. So watch out. And I'd say that she is not pitching 45 mph. But this is a camera so you can't really tell . I think that cameras slow things down .

  • She is NOT crow hopping, her back foot drags. It is only a crow hop if her drag foot leaves the ground prior to release.

Very, very good for her age, can't wait to see her videos as she progresses and even becomes a bigger threat on the mound!!

  • @stemcellsrock she is crow hopping shes practically jumping off the mound!

  • @justinbieberrox115

Then that is a leap... A crowhop is a replant, 2 different things...

Read up on the rules, before commenting... She is 7 years old... if you expect a 7 year old to have perfect form, forget it... But she is doing very good for 7 years old. She is attempting to drag her foot. And her drag foot only has to drag with the level ground so if a hole, it can come off and meet the level ground.

  • @stemcellsrock i never said for her age she was a terrible pitcher and i agree tht for her age she is a really good pitcher but when she gets older she cant just jump off the mound im just telling her tht so plz just go away thank you

  • @justinbieberrox115 Go away, you came to my blog... you need to go away.

  • Stop the crow hop!!!!!

  • try to improve the back swing. her back swing can damage her arm joint as she gets older. our arms arnt ment ot be bent like that. Make sure not to close the left foot up! and when you pitch i dont want to c the front of ur shirt. and when you release the ball follow through

  • she is good, but she is pitching illegaly. My friend started doing the dreaded crowhop when she was about this age and when we started 12 U together, the umps were always on her about it and it messed her amazing pitching all up. Make sure she works on dragging her backfoot before its too late.

  • Does she play park ball or travel ball?

  • She was playing rec in this video. She just started travel ball 10 u last week.

  • on her last pitch

  • She has improved tremendously. She does not pitch like that any more.

  • shes actually pitching illegally. your supposed to pull the ball apart from the glove before you step on the mound. i got called for that once.

  • Good job out your first time. That's awesome...bet you were nervous....I sure would have been.

  • illegel!!!!! wow u cant start a pitch and then stop then restart a new pitch! the ump should call that!

  • yeah u can. u just can't go all the way wit it.

  • no i promise you you cant do that im a pitcher and some of the other pitchers have been called on that including me

    trust me

  • The ump cut her a little slack because it was he first time on the mound.

  • i see

but im just saying so she dosnt do itin the future or so someone else dosnt do it

  • You are right. It was illegal pitch, but the ump let it slide. ;)

    She fixed it since then.

  • well that is just perfect!

she seems like a great pitcher!

what level dose she pitch for now?

  • She is moving to 10U this winterball, but she is only 8yrs old playing her 3rd yr of 8's. She was 6 in this video.

  • cool dose she play for

    a

    b

    or

    c???

  • We are moving to 10U travel. So that would be A.

  • watch the hopping off the base. one time in a game for every illegal pitch the pitcher threw, we got one free base to run. its just not a good habit to get into.

  • Oh, then you shouldn't put that she pitches 43 mph. And watch her crow-hopping. Work on that before it comes a bigger issue once she get in higher leagues. But, speed isn't everything.. She has to work on releasing the ball at the hip and wrist snap before she can get speed. For her age, she needs the basic macanics. I have some drills to help her with all those. If you would like to know some of them please feel free to message me and I will happily give you a decription of them. (:

  • If you watch her most current video you can see a huge improvement!

  • She looks slower than 43mph, but that's my opinion. I am 14 and I work with younger girls and i've seen many girls around 7 or 8 pitch around that speed and it's usually 33 mph or something. I pitch around 60-70 mph. But, she is doing good if she is really 7.. She looks older.

  • She was pitching about 35 in this video. It was her very first appearance on the mound. She has come a long way since then.

  • she's hoping off the mound..watch that!

  • This video is from a long time ago. She pitches much better now.

  • You have ventured far from your house if that is the best you have seen under 10. We see multiple 50+ mph 10U pitchers every weekend. Daugthers team has 3.

  • During 08 winterball Dani struck out 38 out of the first 41 batters she pitched against. This season 1 girl got a base hit and it was on an error by my 1st base player in 16 games. We live in Orange County CA. Kids play year round here. Look at any college roster and you will find most of the girls come from our neck of the woods. It is VERY competitive here.

  • Well I'm just saying that's the best I've seen. Maybe you've seen better. Oh well. Good for you.

  • I was not sure what you meant. I'm sorry if I came across a bit rude. Dani is the best pitcher under the age of 10 I've ever seen.

  • oh, haha.

  • im 12 and i can pitch 45-65 miles per hour. i have been training al my life sincei was 5.go dani! fallor ur dream!

  • shes better than me and im 13 ;) but softball is just for fun for me. i like basketball :) good job dani

  • she throws around proly 45-47 mph she is unbeliveable i havent seen anything like that before she should go get a college scholarship right now

  • We are working on 2nd grade but UCLA is really close.

  • Fun Fun Fun, Pick out a College yet?

  • great job!

  • Man, that's pretty good accuracy, nice job!

  • Her speed has really improved since this video.

  • great job!

    keep it up :)

  • Wow, she is great for being 7!

  • she dosen't look like she is throwing 47 in this video maybe 35... and where does she live bc its seems like you play all year long....

  • 35?!?!? are you kidding me!?

    you over conceided jerk.

she has to be atleast 45.

  • hahahaha

i love it that was gorgeous (delivery i mean)

and when i was 7 i wished i ptched like that wait i didnt pitch when i was 7 but haha she wouldve made me look bad

  • speed it up. work on speed. stay positive. also i think she is way to far back. bc im almost 12 and i pitch from 40 feet. she is supposed to be at 35 feet. try that! :]

  • no i dnt play slow pitch.. but idk why they make us pitch from 50 feet.. how old is she bc im 12??

  • My older daughter is 13 and plays 14u, they pitch from 40 ft. only 18U Gold pitches from 43Ft.

  • i have to pitch from 50 feet.

  • Wow, that's way past regulation. Even the pitchers in the olympics only have to pitch from 43ft. Do you play slow pitch?

  • how far is she pitching from??

  • She is pitching from 30 ft in this video.

  • wow, that is really good for 7 yrs.

  • aww

    great job!

she can do better then this one girl on my team ehh

  • yes..

  • do they have balks in softbal?

  • yes

  • shes 7
