  • @KCoxford This is a Canadian Kick Sled, made in Canada. it's not A Norway KickSled. Those are mainly made of metal, with Ice runners. Canadian Kicksleds are hand made in Canada, and can use either Ice runners or snow runners.

  • @KCoxford They sure do~

  • @KCoxford Sure is! Our neighbors to the north! :) Hand made in Da Nort! :P

  • It looks like the girth of the harness isnt tight enough because it falls to the side alot

  • @Issymouse The harness's they had on in this video were urban mushing harness's, which are different then a x-back harness. They do have their X-back's now. This was taken while we were waiting on the new ones to come in the mail!

  • It getting closer and closer to the season of snow, I can't wait to drive the sled again and hang out with you guys and the dogs!

  • @nadjawolf96 It is getting closer! And now they they have the right gear, we should be able to have some good fun!!!

  • Oh man, this looks like so much fun! Shiloh and Shelby look perfect in a snowy landscape.

  • @999AnnA999 This was a TON of fun! I can't wait til winter so we can go again!

  • Could you make some more videos using the kicksled when the snow comes in Michigan? (I just LOVE to see Siberian Huskies pull)

  • @MrGooglis I sure will!! We can't wait for snow!!!

  • An amortisseur on the line for the dogs is needed ;)

Also, avoid the line of neck in chain noise of which irritates the dogs ;)

    Otherwise, good team ! :p

  • @sleddog6206 They were not properly hooked up becuase the rest of my lines had not come in the mail. :)

  • could one of these dogs pull a sled fine?

  • @GHOSTthaHOST Yes, the nice thing about the KickSled, is you can easily kick it along (almost like a skateboard), and help the dog along on the trail!

  • Ya I could say the same lol Where was this video taped?

  • @D86shanks This was taken on a back road about 8 miles from our home. Its used as a snowmobile trail in the winter, and in the summer is a 10 mile loop ORV Route. There aren't very many snowmobiles back there on a normal basis, so we go and play around back there.

  • nice sled I have the same one they work great hey i mean for how cheap they are

  • @D86shanks I can't wait for snow so we can get using it again!

  • @D86shanks where do you find a cheap one

  • @cheyahboi Black Ice Dog Sledding sells these. They are called a Canadian Kick Sled

  • Cool. It looks like a lot of fun!

  • @MrGooglis I want snow so bad!! It's a very fun sled!

  • Thanks again for taking me Jess I had a great time and the video turned out great!

  • @nadjawolf96 No problem! Can't wait til next year!!!

  • Nice sled!!

  • Thanks!! It was a very good investment for us!

  • hooray glad you got a sled and just in the nick of time by the looks of it! its amazing how much these dogs love to work i bet that afternoon it was peaceful too : )

  • Oh so peaceful! They slept like babies! hehehe

  • Looks fun! The dogs did a great job pulling!

  • Oh they had a blast! They just LOVE to work!

  • Look at those beautiful dogs and that stunning snow!!

  • And unfortunately, our snow is almost all gone. :(

  • Such beautiful girls! How adorable!!!

  • These dogs always have so much fun!!!

  • All day long! Of course we get to have fun with them!

  • The two happiest huskies Evar!

  • Yeah they are happy happy girls!

  • I wanna do that too :)

  • There are links in the sidebar to where you can buy equipment! hehehe

  • wow, just read your friday blog!

    poor husky : /

  • Oh i Know. . isn't that so sad!

  • There you can see the true nature of huskeys. I see that much huskeys in big towns, never run free, never play with other dogs, that is really sad.

  • You can live in the city and have a Husky, you just have to exercise them and work them! They love to work and run! But I know what you mean, so many people get them becuase they are "cute" and then they give them away. :(

  • They pull good.. Are they train to do that Jessica?

They looked tired toward the end of the video.. I bet they slept good that night huh?

  • They haven't had much training, they just really like to run!! heheh

They are slowly learning all the correct commands.

  • i wish i could be there!even though i don't like snow in front of my house haha

and i love the opening howling! cute :)

  • Heheh, Thanks!! That is Shelby howling at the beginning.

  • great stuff, theyre just like malmutes now!

  • Sibieran Huskies pull sleds too! They actually pulled them during the Diptheria Epidemic in Alaska. :)

  • i know i know :P good to see your also knowledged on the history of your dogs.. the more you know eh?? :P

  • Oh I have read SO many books on Huskies, and Nordic Breeds. I feel the more you know about the breed you own, the better! :)

  • definitely

  • Well thank for caring hehe

  • That looked like fun! Most of our snow up here is gone, too. Kinda happy and sad at the same time.

  • Ours is almost all gone now too. :(

  • Would you think one dog would be ok to pull that sled, with me (140lbs) on it? i've always wanted to try this, but only have one dog.

  • A kick Sled is designed for one dog. You can kick it along and it glides really nicely. The dog is only there to help a bit. I would look into it. How much does your dog weigh?

  • How fun! I wish I was with them! I even saw them smiling! :D

  • Oh yes! From ear to ear! heheh

  • that is so awesome... reminds me of our trip to sweden... sigh... I WANT HUSKIES!! and nathans music fits cool!!

    °Sara°

  • Thanks! I thought the song was perfect!

  • there so cute XD im glad ur not that typ of owner that makes dogs go on even when they need a break, i hate it when owners do that y/n? XP

  • We don't want to hurt them! That wouldn't be cool!

  • nope =w=

  • I do know what you mean too. Some people just don't understand! Dogs are living breathing things too!! :(

  • yep! dogs are like us, the only thing diffrent is that they have a diffrent body an a diffrent language

  • Yup that is pretty much the only difference! They have feelings just like we do!

  • ^_^ im glad u agree~ XD

  • I volunteer at a local shelter and I tell you, anyone that says a dog doesn't have feelings, needs to go spend 1 hour at a shelter!

  • Looks lik so much fun! Man would that be fun. Maybw I will come by next winter and catch a ride!

  • Come on by!! hehehe

  • I should ad that at the beginning of the video, -No Dogs were harmed in the making of this film- hehe. Nah, we care VERY dearly for our girls. :)

  • Awesome!! They're having so much fun. I think they have a sled with wheels on it for the summer months for practice, All of our snow is gone so I guess we are waiting for next year. Looked like it was fun for you as well. ~Susan

  • I have looked into a few of them. We are also looking into off road scooters. I have always biked with the dogs using a Springer bike attachment, but it's not so great for the off-road stuff. :)

  • How is Shiloh's nose? I hope she is ok.

  • Her nose really doesn't seem to bother her. She is still very playful and happy. We put ointment on it 5 times a day to keep it moist. :)

  • Amazing video ! so beautiful dogs

  • Well thank you!! We had a lot of fun!
