More like brutal deathcore. There isn't such a genre as pig -core, last time I checked. I wouldn't say they're death metal. If I compared these to, say, Cannibal Corpse, you'd get a very different sound. Death metal's beatdowns sound quite different to ones in deathcore.

Amputated Repugnance are brutal death meta, and yeah, they do somewhat sound slightly similar to this band, but I'd still not call Misericordiam death metal. I'm not trying to start an argument with you about genres or anything, I was just explaining why I feel it isn't death metal, and more deathcore.
