Wow! I love it! I love how the engine sound were transformed into different sound when this 737 were climbing into higher altitude. Also, I loved it when i see the clouds going by so fast, looks like it already reached 300-400 miles an hour. Damn.
It also depends on the throttle and engine size, and your location in relation to the engine. Example: A 737 will have this sound in front of the engine, while you will get more of a rumble behind the wing.
@Shoregirl72 it depends on different factors, like how much throttle to use (which would depend on runway length, fuel, pax) stuff like that and different engines have different compressor's
@Shoregirl72 Don't know if anyone answered but the buzz comes from the front blades of the motor. Like an old fire truck siren, the blades are not perfectly flat so parts of the air going in is not at the same speed from inner to outer on the blades. This causes a sound wave. The larger the blade, the deeper the sound. This is why the 757 has a louder buzz and the 777 has the loudest.
Was this plane behind schedule? The pilot did on over ride of the auto throttles in the turn to full throttle and dropped flaps. This would increase the planes speed faster and rarely done anymore. Great video seeing and hearing a rare event now with fuel at it's cost.
yeah pretty much. You can't really hear it that good behind the engines. I always prefer to sit in front of the engines just so I get the full effect.
great video.....i love takeoffs through cloud cover....

Oh, one more thing. At 2:40 and 2:45 - Is that a dog bark that I hear? Sounds like it to me! lol

2:50 - I love the transition from dark, gloomy skies, to bright sunny skies once above the cloud deck. Looks "heavenly"! Great vid!

I love how they start gunning the engines while they're still turning onto the runway.

This is a 737-700, not a 737-200.

i didnt really hear thrust reduction at all, the pilots seemed to put more throttle between 1:20 and 1:26

I have to ask..what makes some planes louder with the "buzz saw" noise??? Our SW plane did that..but other times it didnt!
I hope someone can answer me!

Just depends on engine type.
