  • nice ass

  • Is this a similar program to MotionBuilder? Can I import rigged models as FBX files and animate those in poser and export the animations as FBX?

  • Nice Vid!

If you search great free textures google for: textureblog

  • Nice

  • Where the hell do I get Poser female figures... My god damn program didnt come with any!

  • @d1v4dPwnz

you can get them for free from Daz Studios. Certain figures are free others you must purchase.

  • @videogamester07 - Yes you are able to make movies on both Daz and Poser, it depends on which program you want to use. You can move the mouth to make them say what you want them to say. There are also a few programs that help with the process as well; but you can manually move the mouth yourself.

  • little lupe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!O.O

  • Can you use Poser to add environment, such as that TV?

  • oh cool

  • I might get this program soon so I was wondering can u change age on the characters you make?

  • @darlenacsummers - You can them for free at Daz, only certain models though and you can purchase any type of model you want, they have adults, teens children, etc.

  • @LadyNinjaKagero daz studio 3d is REALLY HARD TO USE ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS USING IT BBUT IT IF YOU FIGURE IT OUT PLEASE TELLL ME

  • @LadyNinjaKagero daz studio 3d is REALLY HARD TO USE ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS USING IT BBUT IT IF YOU FIGURE IT OUT PLEASE TELLL ME

BUT IT LOOKS REALLY GREAT AND ALOT OF PEOPLE MAKE GREAT ANIMATIONS WITH IT

  • @darlenacsummers I bought Poser 7 a while back for around $250 for business reosons, it came with models of different ages i.e adults, children etc as well as some animals, but for a little tip unless you have alot of time, money, and a very good PC don't rush into it, I'm using a 6 core 3.3Ghz and still anything medium render will take hours, also the clothes they come with are very limited for personal design so be prepared to purchase some or have to find out how to create your own. Research!

  • can u change age?

  • @darlenacsummers - What do you mean? This character is 18 yrs old, why do you want to see older or younger characters.

  • Hey i have a question

Ive just recently started using poser and i have encountered one problem that i don't know how to solve.

When ever i am trying to move the avatar around, sometimes i accidentally click on her clothes instead. Is there a way where i can block the clothing from being selected so i get only select the body?

I really need to know soon so any help will be much appreciated.

  • @iJunkizz - you can hide the clothes so you can move the avatar more freely. Where you conform the clothes there should be a hide figure selection.

  • @LadyNinjaKagero

Ok i went to conform clothes to my model

But all it asks is what you want to conform it to.

    Im using poser pro

  • They are all great I have no idea how to do any of this

    creative and fantastic I say::

  • can this program make animal figures? ive tried :(

  • I really want to use my poser animation/skeleton in Maya. When I use export and choose collada/FBX, all I see in Maya is a mesh of the character and no animation what so ever:o(

Doesn't anyone know how to export animations to maya?

  • is it easier to model characters in poser? i use 3Ds max and im just learning how to use maya

  • does this poser allow finger movement?

  • @TheMelancholyOfNoone - Yes this one does

  • How do you make the animations in Poser? I mean, how do you add bones to then customize it...

    Btw, nice test video.

  • To add bones to your model you have to make sure it has groups like HEAD, NECK and other body parts. You go to the setup room and add bones to the body part making sure to name them exactly as the group name.

After rigging your model then you fix any mistakes with joint editor and then exit setup. Move your model as you wish.

Open the animation controls and slide it to the frames you want; pose model and move slide back and forth to see results.

  • rigging a figure is usually not necessary in Poser as the best figures are available with riggings and morphs already in place

  • @stiimuli - I know most of the figures I have are pre-rigged but the ones that people make themselves don't come rigged.

Saw some of you animations, they are pretty cool.

  • Hey that looks pretty good. I have a technical question, cuz I'm thinking of getting poser 8: can you render out to a series of individual .tga files with an alpha channel (transparency)??

  • I do know you are able to render them as .TGA files...

The only image files that come out with transparency is the .PNG files.

When I rendered a .tga file I got the grayish background like you see here.

  • Very good.

What human characters/figures (and can you give a description of each) come with Poser8 ?

I have other versions but am on the fence about upgrading.

    Thanks.

  • How long did it take you to do that animation

  • It took me about 1 hour. I kept fucking up the animation but I got to what at least I want. I am still adding stuff cause I want to see if I can make this an intro to some of my videos

  • I really like the way the hair slides around the shoulder. Nice attention to detail.
