Awh maybe they didn't deserve you. I found a smaller school with a better program than a higher end school best suited me and got accepted you just have to keep looking. A tip is spend a year or two at community college then get your grades or attendance up or whatever and then try again. That's what I did and I'm in Pre Med now

Well, as someone who didnt attend an elite school, I went to a small college near Philadelphia, I have to tell you, no one thing defines a man. Going to a certain college guarantees nothing. many of the greats never even graduated high school or college. life never works out the way we plan...thats natutal. but make do with what happens. While "prestigious" universities may have more experienced faculty; their experience is in their research, not teaching, and you are paying to be taught. I never understood why people want to go to yale, harvard, wharton etc.... either way, going to college still gets you a degree. lol. I never got that. Each college has to be government whether federally or state certified. so the only difference between graduate degrees are the place where one obtains them. That's it.

@wesleytocool Well for a premed student, its pretty tough, as youre surrounded by tons of smart people, and i have to work my ass off just to make the avg on an orgo test. however, you do get a great education. I'm also a history major in addition to premed, and i can tell you that hopkins has a great history/english dept. so you'll get a good education, but be ready to work hard. also, all that cuthroat crap is bullshit. the kids are just smart, as in any other top-ranked school.
