EMI Poly Box. It takes monophonic synthesizers and make them sound polyphonic. Basicaly you hold a chord down and play the root of the chord with the mono-synth.
Great to watch all your vintage equipment in this video.
I had a Korg PS3100 for almost 25 years -but sold it 8 month ago... And today I do miss not having it as a part of my equipment - though I did'nt using that much.
Yay Korg! I've got 2 Monopoly's and an MS-20. My first synth ever was a Mini-korg back in the 70's. You need a Maxi-Korg! (unless I missed it in there somewhere). A friend of mine had 2 Maxi-korgs and dedicated one to left hand bass. It was killer-fat!
despite everything going digital nowadays i think there will come a day when people will tire of its fakeness and unnaturalness and return to the warmth and genuineness of analogue equipment
I wish I had some old Korg instruments like these. They are awesome. The closest thing I have is a Korg DS-10, a sort of replica of the MS-10 made for the Nintendo DS videogame system. It's cool but not quite the same.
Isn't it funny how we get such enjoyment out of looking and listening to vintage gear, even on autopilot? I just got an ES50. I've had a Poly 800,Poly 61, and PS3100. When I sold the 3100 in 1992 I suspect the buyer was laughing inside when he offered me $60 and I took it. Shame on me! Oh yes, the required Dotcom muodular is there. I had one of those, too. Currently, I have a VAZ on my computer and hardware synths on their sides for when I want to use them. Synths attract all kinds.
great analog machines!!!!!

I use a couple of them since 1979 (MS20, MS50, X911 and SQ10) and I discovered something pretty strange : You can even make MUSIC with them!!!!
