I dont know if its been mentioned but, I think he reason for the delay is the 202's ins (cv) have to be bypassed from its cpu with a mod..hence,direct note triggers..(i sold mine yrs ago because of this lag issue, before a mod was known.)
damn man what a studio! and really good track! i'm waiting for a mc202 i buyed on ebay, but i'm also looking for a good (old school) reverb (not too expensive) do you have an idea? can the space echo be the main (or only) reverb for a track or do you use something else? thx
@kicksNCY Thanks! My Space Echo's reverb is not working, but if you turn the rate all the way up you can get a reverb type sound. Any old school type reverbs are going to be expensive. Vermona has a nice spring reverb, but it's not cheap.
What's your mixer seup? I notice you've got all the outs of the 707 hoooked up, but you've only got a 16 channel Mackie? I'm thinking of revising my mixer, p'raps getting an 8 bus....
Most of the outputs of the 707 are going into their own channels on the mixer. The rest are the synths to their own channels on the mixer. I got the space echo on a send with three other effects on send too. You can never have to many inputs on a mixer.
