Swain goes by an easy 3 spell combo and you dont even use 2 of the spells, torment is the first thing to max and you should spam it on enemies so much you can with the easy combo, torment-bird-grip and there you have a easy combo... Dont get skins if you dont know how to play a champ. Torment is a good DoT that makes you damage more on that target, if you go with the easy combo your damage output will be maximum...

if you max q first, your torment makes it 6% stronger and the slow is better

@GenoPuppet You should max your e first and use it before your other abilities to increase their damage by a certain percentage per rank. He is by no means a nuke caster though, but he can last longer than normal in team fights because of his ult and sustain damage pretty well. Good luck.

@GenoPuppet swain is supposed to be played as an initiating semitank and a damage over time champion. he is one of few champions that can force a teamfight inside an enemy turret instead of making his team to go through a 'siege style' slug fest. his intimidating factor is also a huge team advantage in games of any elo. if you activate your ulti and appear highly aggresive even high-elo teams will try to avoid a teamfight. he is not supposed to be a burst caster or a carry for that matter

First of all you don't max laser or evermore first because never more is only good for stun and laser bird is on a tether so neither is good to max whereas torments does a lot of damage over time plus adds more as the Target takes damage meaning you should use it first in all your battles and this player was not using him to his full potential

u play rly deffensive. as swain u can kill them on 5lvl, on 6lvl u should kill them.

best build for swain for me is 2xrod of ages, and items for tank like leviatan or wormog, and always golem buff ;P

swain is really not OP, his AP ratio is very low. on low lvl hes good but later he is weak

@maikyboy12345 Actually, he's pretty strong. His AP ratios appear weak because most of his spells are dots.

I main him, and really, I find the most success with RoA+Mejais+Frozen heart. Swain's not a heavy burst caster; he's more of a controller with strong damage on his full combo. If you carry ignite, landing his W can almost guarantee a kill late game. Really, he's at his best when he's in the fray spamming his snare and making a nuisance of himself.
