I originally started smoking, and smoked for 3 years until I quit. Then, when I got into situations where I was stressed I craved a cigar (smoked café creme). In a very tense situation in 2008 I just broke down and bought a pack. I then smoked off and on, used nicotine gum which didn't do shit and plasters as well. Then I moved to Norway last year, where I could get snus. I no longer get the craving for cigars. So I ask - where is the harm for former smokers? Sure, we could get cancer. But less.

This stuff is a godsend, it really is. Since October of 09, I've smoked probably 30 cigarettes, down from at least 25 a day, for 20 years. It is criminal that here in Canada I have to import it from Sweden and pay almost %110 duty on it as well.

Well, there are more types than just white original, original and mini. There is loose snus too. I prefer loose snus because it give a stronger taste and it tastes better. The thing bout loose snus is that it doesn't come in portions. It like powder that you have to "bake" into for an example a small pill and then put under your upper lip

Swedish snus is the safest and most harmless way of using tobacco. It should be legal to sell snus in the EU, since it would help fight diseases like lung cancer. Sweden has the lowest rate of lung cancer in the world, especially among men. All because of snus. Now, I don't recommend anyone who isn't smoking to start using snus but smokers should definitley consider changing to Swedish SNUS!
