  • I grew up in the 60s with 2-3 Tom Lehrer albums that we nearly wore out. LOVE LOVE him and is so great to see the footage!!!

  • This should be a song on the Fallout Franchise of games

  • 0 dislikes. That's what I like to see.

  • No way... He wore a bowtie... I respect him 10x more now.

  • Thanks mate!

  • PRENOSTALGIA

  • I love how quickly he sings it in this version -- it makes it feel so much more ragtimey. Something to dance to, indeed.

  • Good lord, that's some heavy comedy there from 1966. I loved it.

  • Fantastic clip, and a great song.

I'm so impressed that you managed to find this footage! Thank you for putting it up!

  • This is a truly great clip! And so prophetic with regards to the TV coverage and the smaller timeframes.

  • Thank God we have Color T.V.'s now.

  • @drmoonrat

Umm... Well, you know, there was color T.V. then, too. Now if you really want to go back, CBS was broadcasting their own color system in 1953; & the NBC began color broadcasts using the RCA Compatible Color System (so any T.V. set could receive the signals) in 1954. The Howdy Doody Show was broadcast in color in 1954. Superman went to color in 1956; the Perry Como Show shortly thereafter. By the 1960's, you had Bonanza; Disney's Wonderful World of Color, & many others.

    Ed Falvo.

  • Woah... hello there, speed demon.

Still, very cool, very awesome. Thanks for putting this up! And finding it in the first place.

  • Thanks. Very rare.
