For obvious reasons, the coupe and convertible roof structures are different but from a distance... they carry very similar lines. Depending on the exact convertible top installed.... some may differ more than others.
I cant work this out whether it's my brain playing tricks on me or what. Do the Convertible and Coupe have different shapes to their roof line etc? This one I keep thinking looks different to some coupes I've seen but I cant work out why
ok, sorry about that, but the event in Fort worth is a possibility for me, my brothers and sisters live there. I will google that and check it out. Thanks. Take care
@jaarmen3 There you go! Now you have a good reason to visit the family, a place to stay and an event you'll enjoy. Sounds like a win, win, win situation all the way around to me. Have fun & take care yourself.
@jaarmen3 You might want to check this Goodguys event in Ft. Worth, TX 1st weekend in Oct. I'm just guessing, but... I'm sure it's very similar to the Charlotte event that's close to me and even though the event still isn't right around the corner from you, it's a damn sight closer than Charlotte. Even if you don't walk away with a Camaro... I think you'll still enjoy the event if you've never been.
@jaarmen3 Youtube absolutely refuses to let me send you the direct link to the Goodguys Ft. Worth event I just spoke about, but you can google it and see what it's all about and if you're interested in attending
ok, thanks. Anyway your camero is beautiful and you have done a great job at maintaining it. I have been wanting to get one myself since I was 17, I am 47 now. And checking Craig's list and Ebay and other sites. Thanks. Take care.
@jaarmen3 I have no idea where you live and therefore my suggestion is probably going to be useless to you, but... if you will be anywhere close to the Charlotte Motor Speedway the last weekend of Oct. ... it might be worth your while to look there as I have seen MANY classic cars being sold there at fairly reasonable prices throughout the years. It is a Goodguys event and therefore they may have similar events closer to you that might help in your search if Charlotte is unrealistic.
@jaarmen3 Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it. To answer your question... I honestly do not remember where the top came from at this time. The project spanned over 20 years.
