  • Austin, back in the 70's, I actually met her face to face, took her to the ER of a hospital nearby. She started singing "Superskirt" and asked me if I liked it. I said "Sure do", and she told me who she was. I am ashamed to say I called her a fib. When she got ready to go back to her hotel, she asked for me again, and actually gave me an autographed picture. Very nice lady. (I was the only female cab driver in town at that time, this was back in the 70's)

  • It's an absolute pleasure to read (all) the comments that have been posted on You(Tube) concerning Connie and her music. I am Connie's first cousin, nine years her junior, both born in the small town of Carlinville, Illinois 62626. I am most-likely Connie's biggest fan, and have (over the years) collected a small museum's worth of her career memorabilia. Should you have any questions pertaining to her career in music, don't hesitate to ask, I most-likely will have your answer. Austin Glen ♥ ♥ ♥

  • Having watched this again a year later another thought comes to mind because of what I see here in the UK on a daily basis with regard to entertainers. Or, exhibitionists more like. When you have little or no talent, take off your clothes. Dazzle em with BS when you have little else. Gee, how did Connie do it with all her clothes on? No bikini on stage? No gaga crap? Oh dear. Poor girl. Only HUGE talent. I'm still nuts about her all these yrs later.

  • I have to agree with everyone also. This woman is awesome and should have been a huge country star. That's one of the best voices I've ever heard and she sure puts her entire heart and soul into the delivery of her songs.

  • Flashbell, ur right. And she is was and probably still is AWESOME. I met her way back when, when I was a country DJ in KY. I went to a couple of her shows as well and fell in love. I was back stage at the Opry with her when she brought the house down one night. Really. Ppl standing and cheering and shouting for more. And she came back stage saying, they like me, they like me, they like me. And it was genuine. And so was she. I still love her. She never got the breaks or ..? don't know.

  • awsome really great

  • Come on people give some feedback. She deserves it.
