GREAT video quality - was this shot in 1978? I also saw them in March(?) 1978, at the Paradise in Boston. I was 19... sigh. Fantastic, magical show. SHOITS!!
one of their Best songs. I wanna hear Devil and theTeeenaged Crutch. saw them at CBGB's many times and at the Fastlane and Julio's south in Asbury ( where all the CbGb bands came to play including my first Ramones show in ''76.
Toothbrush - I'm sure you are right but the date is not - my girlfriend and I were rescued by the band from being crushed at a gig in Exit in Rotterdam when the single went to number 1 in Holland and the place got overwhelmed, but that was 1982
I am Japanese. Shirts was loved in 30 years ago. It buys in Japan and it has 1st and 2nd.LP. Being able to see images of men who are moving 30 years later surely. Thanks for posting. 私は日本人です。30年前にShirtsが大好きでした。1st.と2nd.LPは日本で買って持っています。まさか、30年後に動いている彼らの映像を見ることができるなんて!。ポストに感謝します。
Thanks for the Post. I saw The Shirts in Cherry Hill N.J. at Emerald City in support of their first or second Lp. The first Lp is a keeper and the memory of the show will remain with me...fun
The Shirts are a New York-based power pop band which was formed in 1975. The bands early existence (1975 to 1981) was closely linked with CBGB, a music club in the Bowery, but it reformed with many of the early members in 2003 and is currently active.
