patrick.. patrick.. patrick.. firstly I AM a huge fan of his, and have been from the very start of his career when he was playing to about 5 people.. but I find his teenage runaway story so tiring, and has anyone noticed his accent has drastically changed, or maybe it's just that he's dropped his more complex continent crossover one.. I don't know.. he's only human, and we all want to be someone else... so you can't rattle on too much..

you can tell that she really doesn't understand or appreaciate patrick at all and she makes Australian accents sound terrible, but im Australian and my accent is no where near as harsh toned as hers. He is so wonderful, i really admire people who follow their dreams and don't let anyone get in their way. I'm getting his 2 of his cd's for christmas! its so exciting :D

sorry, but i have to defend rosie and contest yr comment re: "she really doesn't understand or appreaciate patrick at all". i met rosie mid-dec '07 and happened to talk about PW. she really is a fan and enjoyed his syd metro show (nov '07.) i told her of my footage from his solo Basement gig (july 07) and she expressed interested seeing it.

also, PW is new to aust. audiences and many wouldn't have known his past. sometimes i/viewers have to cover old ground to bring others up to speed.
