Brother,there are TWO Types of Enemies we all have.
First kind the ones who come to us with fighting mode,which we can see on their face.this type you either hurt them or hurt you physically.that would Quench their thirst.

WELL YOU ARE %100 WRONG.
Those Hadith are written by SIX Individuals,Who Sat and Wrote Bunch of LIES ,Claiming to be the Words of RASULALLAH(SAWA).Those books and Just like the Bible for Christians . Containing %85 LIES ,with %15 truth.Now you take these Books and Call them SUNNAH of Rasulallah(SA), you will be held RESPONSIBLE for those LIES.

The Explanation is simple .... During a Journey u might have some problems depending upon the ur destination so it depends upon ur own will that u should fast or not and the same thing is when u get ill during the month of Ramadan and ur using Medicines in these conditions fasting is on ur own wish !.

THIS MEANS YOU SHOULD NOT FAST IN JOURNEY ,OR WHEN YOU ARE SICK
THAT IS HARAM .IF YOU ARE SICK ,YOU CAN NOT BE STUBBORN & KILL YOUR SELF,BUT YOU SHOULD MAKE IT UP, WHEN YOU GET WELL,OR RETURN FROM TRIP.

@irooni100 Well the verse that u Posted is wrong the correct verse is Surah Al-Barqaran 2:184 "Specific days (are designated for fasting);If one is ill or traveling,an equal number of OTHER days may be substituted .Those who can fast,But with great difficulty,may substitute feeding one poor person for each day of breaking the fast.If one volunteers (more righteous works), It is better.But fasting is the best for you,If you only knew".
So what ever Prophet said was 100% correct CONTINUE....

If you are planning for a journey ,you should NOT EVEN FAST , Because braking your Fast Requires you to fast for 60 days.or feeding 60 poor person. or freeing 60 slaves.these are what his Ahlulbayt(AS) have been thought from Rasulallah(SA).And if you fast when you are SICK, or journey you commit HARAM .
