Eternity n Foreva u suck u only have to do with what the org has beat into ur brain oviously u do not have a real relationship with THE MOST HIGH cuz if u did He would show u the real truth like He did all us Apostates n He'll do what eva the fuck He wabts no matter what we speculate!!!
How will you be saved and how do u know that? Do u believe Christ existed? if u dont, that explains everthing. If u do, Do u think he left scriptures for us for guidance? Where are they since u say the bible is not that book in another of your videos? Are u against all christian denominations or just JWs? Do u beleive what they teach? When u were a JW and went door to door, Did you believed in what u talked to people about? Interested to know the answers to my questions and more that I have.
Thanks for all the questions u bring up. Thanks to that I decided to research and find out for myself and asked these questions to a JW and studied other literature. I am now studying and very happy I made that decision. But now that you are not one, What are u now? ur own religion? Have u found the truth ur looking for now that you believe JWs dont? Do you believe in God? Who is he and how did you get to know him? Where can I learn from ur god. Where did u? What is his will? What is yours?..

I am not a witness, but if you believe in the God of the Bible, then you believe he is all powerful. Therefore a question about the practical abilities of God is fairly pointless. You cannot say of an all powerful God "he can't do..." because he is all powerful. An all powerful God who can't recreate is not an all powerful God.
Simply, resurrection is different than recreation. The Bible is clear that Jesus resurrected in the same body He died in-it was a body of flesh and bone, by His own admission,(Luke 24:37-43), though it was glorified, sown incorruptible. What Jesus did to Lazarus is similar to the resurrection we will all experience, though it was temporary-He raised him up completely whole and healthy, though not glorified. We will be glorified, resurrected like Jesus, (1John 3:2).
Only God knows, who can really know how he will resurrect back into creation, no man can answer how and in what order the particals of matter came to be in human excistance,to become a living being,or what motive was behind the cause to become.
you will take notice of his place but he will not be there,so you would have the same memory as it was so with christ as he remembered his disciples, also one thing is known in the science community that when cloning animals they do not have the same personality or soul. They are diffrent, this can not be cloned only because it is given, but just as the soul cannot live without the body, just as it is with heart without the brain, amino acids without protien in the Dnathe pairity's equal one
listen wat ur asking. you are a human comparing god to a scientist. that was ur first mistake sorry. not a hard question man. they arent the same thing. god will ressurect we dont kno how. we cant kno how! we cant understand how he does things. but hey if u ask me id take re creation or ressurection lol its a hope! no other religion preaches that.
God can do anything.I've thought about this question alot, myself."With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."God is far greater in knowledge and power than we can understand.TO Him,we are like a drop in the bucket.-Isaiah 40:15.Like fine gauze he spread out the heavens-vs.22.He can resurrect a person EXACTLY as they were before they died.He probably could make a hundred of them if he wanted to!WE should not marvel at this because he will bring dead ones back!-John 5:28,29
@eternityandforever The question though really isn't if I think God can do it but the method outlined by the WT. Saying that "God can do it but we don't know how" is fine with me, my question is the method that the WT outlines as I mention here doesn't make sense and you say so too. So are you and I right that God CAN do it we just don't know the way he will, or is the WT right and God is essentially making a copy of each person with a method that doesn't make logical sense?
@TimKilgore Can you please provide references of where the WT said god is "making a copy of each person" and the "method" with which he does it. I only ask because human understand of life and how it got here (scientifically) is quite limited. There are plenty of dogmatic methods, but can someone explain the process of recreation without first explaining the process of creation?
I don't think its far fetched. She is still your grandma, our bodies renew themselves every 7 years so we don't have the same bodies as we were when we were kids but it is still us. God knows alot more than a cloning scientist, So I have faith that I will see my mom agian, and Im not a Witness anymore either but that seems to hold up to what the bible teaches.
It is true that those who died years ago, their bodies all corrupted. While we do not yet know what kind of a body they will have when their soul/spirit returns, we do know that G-d can prepare (not re-create) a body for them, He. 10:5; Ge. 2:7.
It is not true when we die we cease to exist. If that were true, Stephen would not have asked Jesus re: his spirit, Elijah would not have prayed for something to return that doesn't exist after death, and those under the altar would not speak b/c they don't exist. Ac 7:58, 59; 1 Ki 17:20-22; Rev. 6:9-11.
Mt. 10:28, Ez. 18:4, our body dies/can be killed, but the soul lives unless killed by G-d. Ps. 146:4, Ecc. 12:7 when we die, our spirit goes out & returns to the G-d who gave it. Lk 8:52-55 when one's spirit returns to the body, one is resurrected (stands up [again]).
and 2nd.if you beleive jehovah in the beggining created all living things earth, heavens, angels, humans than nothing is impossible for him.nothing wrong with asking questions even the apostles didnt understand things fully and even the witnesses today dont claim to have all the answers.remember as that day gets closer the light gets brighter.its the things that we know to be true and in the present that we should be privledged to know.
@mkruse820 I never said I didn't think God COULDN'T do it, I'm saying the way the Watchtower explains HOW he's going to do it makes no sense. If every single part of a person is recreated then it's not the same person. If I cloned your father, made him able to walk and uploaded his memories into the clone is it your father or did I just create something that THINKS they're your father? The Watchtower says this explicitely so yes they do say they know the answer.
the scriptures also exlain that old will become young again....even tho they may have the same mind, heart, personality they may no longer look as they did when they were old.just the fact that jehovah would care enough about us to resurect us to a perfect human body.when my dad died he had been parilyzed for 30 yrs they eventually had to amputate both of his leggs.so im sure he will welcome his new body!!!
Recreating someone.... So if i die old, ill be recreated an old man or at the age i want to be?..If a baby dies, how does it work? he/she have no memories?. that doesnt make any sens...Nobody wants to be Recreated. I know a lot of people that want to Reincarnate though, i dont believe thats the same. Above all, If god really wanted us to live for eternity(soul), why did he created us mortal flesh beeings?... VERY GOOD POINT MR. LIKE.
GOD SAYS HE HAS A SON.Jesus said he's God's Son-Matthew 3:17,Mark 9:7,Psalms 2:7,Luke 9:35,Prov.8:22.DEMONS,expelled said he's Son of God-Luke 4:41.Matt.8:29, Mark3:11.Others said he's Son-John1:14,49,3:17,5:18,36,6:46,10:36,Mark15:39,Matthew 26:63,27:40. Hebrews10:29,4:14.An angel said he's Son-Luke1:35.Jehovah God is Jesus' God-John15:1,16:3,30,20:17, Matt.26:26,36-44,64,Mark15:34,Ephesians1:17.Son=Mediator-1Timothy 2:5,Heb.1:3,4,8:6,9:15,12:24, Romans1:4,8,9,Acts7:55,56.
@wep244 If he's recreating something how can it be the same, by the very definition it is a copy. If you're saying he can do it but we don't know how, why does the Watchtower explain exactly how he's going to do it?
If Tim was really seeking answers he would reply to the answers given, but when someone like me comes along and gives him the answer he avoids responding
@TheTruthSpeakerBox Ah and everyone can always just go to my video entitled "The Perfect Argument" where I ask why people who provide an answer that I find holes in say there's something wrong with me instead of their response. I always say it's better to have questions I can't answer, instead of answers I can't question.
Why are you respond to our answer ? In this video you ask how can god resurrect the dead when the bodies are destroyed, you said it's sounds like a re creation? That was your question DUMMY, now I have answered it in a way that makes you look stupid . Everyone watch this video and see how I answered it and why tim won't respond to my answer
You are afraid to respond to our answers because you know were right and your not really seeking answers. Everyone reading this find Tims video on charity work and you'll see I caught Tim in a lie and that proves none of his stories are creditable
@TheTruthSpeakerBox Aw, except for the fact you can go back to my Myspace from the time and see my blog on it and see comments from people who volunteered there with me. I don't know why people like you want to be caught the fool so much, people who watch my videos also know ad hominem attacks no matter how hard you try still don't answer the questions or discredit the message. The biggest asshole in the world can still have a good point.
Haha, that's all you gotta say based on our answers to your questions? I thought you were seeking answers for your daughter? Well me and Ivory2007 and 0723Breanna answered the question on this video. So why haven't you respond to our answer if your purpose on your channel is to seek answers for your daughter?
My last comment to demwill got cut off. What I was saying was for an example, for humans to try to comprehend how there is no beginning is like trying to explain to a dog how a jet engine works, will will never understand how god made the universe, just as a dog will never understand how a jet engine works
@TheTruthSpeakerBox Appeal to authority, appeal to antiquity, appeal to the unknown and special pleading. You are a wealth of logical fallacies aren't you?
Tim avoided this video because he calls his cannel tough questions for JWs, however he's really not seeking answers. His whole purpose is to bash JWs online. Tims mind is made up. He's not looking for Amy real answers. That's why he avoided replying to our comments because he knows we answers his question with the right answer. Why can't he just admit were right?
And the last person I'm gonna address is TImKilgore. Just yesterday Tim replied to a few of my answers, but like half of my comments he did not reply to our answers on this video, however he was online and cherry picked which answers he would reply to. The question is why did he avoid this video?
Now humans can't comprehend something not having a beginning, so you will drive your brain crazy trying to figure out a beginning, you will keep going back and back and back searching for a beginning. But there is NO beginning . The bible says god has no beginning or end and humans will never be able to understand that god has no beginning. So go ahead demwill , you and your scientist keep trying to find a beginning , and you will never be able to explain. For example it's like trying to expl
How did the ball fill with energy? How was the ball formed? How long has it been there? What ever formed the ball where did that come from? You can keep going back and back and back in time wondering where each thing that cause each came from and it will keep going backwards and there will be NO beginning, no matter how far back you go whatever you find your gonna have the question of ( what formed this, and so on and so on
NO, the big bang explains the start of the expansion of the universe but it doesn't explain a beginning . They say a little ball of energy built up pressure over billions of years and it exploded and caused the expansion of the universe. Well where did that ball come from? Where did the energy inside it come from?
Now I'm gonna address demwill. You think resurrection is a fairly tale because scientist try to explain everything and if they can't they make up anything that sounds like it makes sense such as the Big bang theory . The bible says god has no beginning or end. Humans can't comprehend that something could such as a god could have no beginning. So you make up this big bang theory to make a beginning. But dose the big bang theory really show a beginning?
The next one I'm gonna address is mimdwis3, you ask how pharaoh's magicians also turned there rods into snakes? Well the problem with non believers like you is the you only read parts of the bible, so you don't know what your talking about. Magicians get there power from demons. However if you read the whole book of exodus you'll know the magicians couldn't do everything that Moses did, so your (Lol) just makes us all laugh at you because you don't have any knowledge of the bible
Ok folks, I'm gonna address 5 of you, first I'm gonna address Ivory2007 and 0723Breanna, were on the same side but I have to say your stealing my credit for my answers, I'm the first person to stump Tim on his questions so I wanna take credit for my answers, I'm the one who said humans can't comprehend gods powers, and I'm not even a JW, I'm just studying
Listen, you need to ask yourself if you believe in God or not. Personally, I like to keep an open mind. I am also a scientist, and I know that resurrection is just a fairy tale. You probably hit the nail on the head with re-creation.
Have you ever lost anyone to death? If you have, then you can probably appreciate the hope that all religions offer of a resurrection or rebirth. This, sadly however, was invented by humans to ease the pain of the grieving ones. Our bodies are just complex machines
and as machines, when you pull the plug, everything is gone. It's like when you have been spending hours writing something in Word, and then you get a power cut and you lose everything because you didn't save. I also believe that we will soon be able to clone ourselves, and maybe in the not too distant future, we will be able to upload our memories and even brain patterns to a computer, but that would not even come close to cloning or re-creating ones mental state and conciousness.
I was baptized Greek Orthodox, but my ex-wife was a Jehovah's Witness, and she really tried to convert me. I think I know more about that religion than I do about anything else. I also know that it is not really where you want your daughter to be. You left, because you sensed that something was wrong. You have questions that cannot be answered. However, and please be honest with me, were you happy growing up as a witness? How did you feel at school? When other kids did stuff that....
you were not allowed to do? What about birthdays and xmas? I was raised Greek orthodox (it's a bit like Catholicism, but the priests have beards - lol), and we were allowed to be as religious as we liked. I probably went to church twice a year, and I had a 'normal' childhood. My 9 year old daughter who lives with her mom, isn't allowed to partake an any worldly celebrations at school (however, I really do compensate whenever she is with me). I see, however, that she is not truly happy
You see, kids don't like to be different, and by sending your daughter to meetings, you're gonna make her different to most everyone else in the world. You're from the USA, right? The land of opportunity and equality. But, being a witness in any country, means that you don't accept that equality, as only witnesses have true equality. Do yourself and your daughter a favour, and be like everyone else. Your life will be so much better for it. Just focus on being a good dad, and husband.
Tim Kilgore, im glad you question someone's doctrines. Now put watchtower ideas aside and open the Bible. The real you is the soul that never dies, not the flesh. 2-Peter 1:14. There will not be recreation but resurrection. Resurrection means transforming of our body to get a body like God. Phil. 3:21. also read 2-cor. 15. it talks about resurrection.
Guys please leave watchtower doctrine and read the Bible. the Bible says the flesh will never inherit the Kingdom. Its a dirt and will go back to dirt. Human is made of 3 things, flesh, soul, and spitit that God put in it. the soul is the actual you, flesh is so you could be visible here on earth
The bible teaches resurrection of the dead not re-creation. In truth we know Jehovah God will resurrect individuals but WE DON'T KNOW HOW. No one on Earth knows the exact details. You really hung up on details that shouldn't change your faith in the resurrection. If God himself said he'll resurrect individuals, why should it matter to you how he does it. If someone fixed your broken down car and put a new battery, are you going to refuse to drive it because its not ur old car?
You said in some of your videos that your doing this for your daughter? How dose bashing JWs on YouTube have anything to do with your daughter? What? You can't talk to her about your beliefs? You must post these videos on YouTube for your daughter? And whats with your stupid introduction to your videos? Is this just a big joke for you?
Were only humans, we can't comprehend HOW gods powers work, god will resurrect the dead, don't worry about how he will do it, do you also wanna know HOW god made Mose's rod turn into a snake? Lol
Ok TimKilgore, you are an idiot , your asking how is god going to resurrect people if there body is destroyed ? That it sounds more like a re-creation? Your asking how can god resurrect when the bodies are gone? That's just as stupid as asking how did god make eve out of Adams riib? Or how did Mary get pregnant when she was a virgin? Are you that dumb? Your asking how god uses his powers, the bible says god will resurrect the dead so he will, the bible can't explain to you (how) gods powers wi
@2edgedsw0rd So just those two definitions but then you go on to create another definition by saying it's in God's memory, in other words "future life's prospects". How does Revelation say that God destroys the soul? Doesn't it say something about the second death? Now if the soul is man and it dies when the human dies then how can God kill it again? If the men in Ezekiel weren't judged and killed then he mustn't have been talking about those Israelites was he?
@TimKilgore ok excuse me but 2edged swords answer din make sense to me and im a witness so let me put it this way. Really like you said serving god comes down to your faith. God has told us and shown us that he cannot lie, that every thing he says comes true (Hebrew 6:18 states: it is impossible for god to lie.) And look at the account when God told Aaron and Moses that thy would die because they claimed that they brot water from the rock wen it was really god. and did they die... yes!
@TimKilgore So now that we KNOW that God cannot lie because he is perfect. He says he will raised up our loved ones. We dont know how he will do it but we know he will because he cant lie. So Jehovahs power is really too advanced for the human mind to even comprehend. Jehovah doesnt tell us how he'll do it he just tells us that he'll do it and he doesnt tel us why on purpose because he wants us to have faith in him. Because faith is the key to resurrection
@TimKilgore So we dont know how god'll will resurect and recreate a person nd they still be th same person but like I said his power is too great for the human minds to comprehend. Heck! we dont even know everything about the human body yet but Jehovah does because he made us!
@2edgedsw0rd Ah, so then soul means life and soul means a living creature at the same time? OK these are the ONLY two definitions you will use for this correct? You promise to use no more. So then my scripture in Matthew I used, how can one kill the body but not the soul? Your two definitions are life and living creature, can I kill a living creature but not take his life? Can I take someone's life but leave a living creature? BTW when were the men in Ezekiel judged and killed by God?
@2edgedsw0rd Yes you are changing the meaning because now you're defining soul as a breather. Ez 18:21 "Now as regards someone wicked, in case he should turn back from all his sins that he has committed and he should actually keep all my statutes and execute justice and righteousness, he will positively keep living. He will not die." So you said he was talking to Israel right, could you please point to the man who repented and did not die, can I talk to him?
@2edgedsw0rd Ah so you're going to change the definition of the word as you see fit. Someone hasn't seen my other video on the subject have you. Again your re-stating my position, soul is alive inside the body while the body breathes, once that body stops breathing the body is no longer a living soul but that doesn't mean the soul is not alive. So the people Ezekiel spoke to, which one of the repented and is still alive like he told them?
@2edgedsw0rd Ah but what did the beginning of the scripture say, when God breathed the breath of life into man he then became a living soul. If a soul is inside man then man is a living soul, if a soul is outside of the body the man is dead but the soul is alive. If a sinner repents he will not die, if a sinner repents right now and the end does not come within 200 years will he die or not? If he does die then either that scripture is wrong or it means spiritual death.
@2edgedsw0rd Another comment and another straw man argument. What did I just say in my response? The soul is alive inside of the man and he is defined by his soul. The next verse says that if a sinner repents he will not die. Is there a reason you're ignoring this scripture? If it's spiritual death and spiritual life discussed in Ez 18 then there's only 1 soul and it's immortal. So are you going to address my actual points or make up some more that I didn't even discuss?
@2edgedsw0rd Cite the sources man, you start citing Watchtowers and then I will. Ez 18:20 is easily refuted: it refers to spiritual death and is obvious from context, since 18:21 says a wicked man that turns away will not die. Since all men die physically, this must be talking about the spiritual, or "second" death. This is backed up by Matt 10:28. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Yay Bible Batmitton, this is a game you're going to lose man.
@2edgedsw0rd I see your ONE scripture and raise you TWO, Satan blinds the eyes of the unbelievers and Satan transforms himself into an angel of light, how can someone sin if they think they're right and they're blinded to seeing real truth. OK so how will God re-pattern without recreating? They're two different thoughts then explain how they are. Again the WT specifically states resurrection occurs by recreating a body and thoughts then implanting thoughts into the body.
@2edgedsw0rd Hmmm, so the bible doesn't say the soul is immortal? Really? Romans 7:8, Heb 12:22,23, Psalms 104:30, Revelation 11:11, 1 Kings 17:22, 2 Corinthians 12:2,3 all seem to contradict you. I'm not even halfway through my list. The WT uses buzz-words frequently when pressed for an answer in this subject, I have no doubt they use resurrect and "re-pattern" but how does one "re-pattern" without recreating. I can cite specifically the way God resurrects is through recreation.
@2edgedsw0rd Some might think your immortal soul is implanted inside of a new body. If you don't really know the method then why did you mark that one as being a method incapable by God? You have thus far cited one source which you've cited wrong. I would suggest you do some actual research on it, as I've said numerous times I'm willing to cite NUMEROUS WT sources that show the teaching as I've said, but yeah that's not properly says the man who doesn't even want to see them.
@2edgedsw0rd Not exactly, cite your source article. The method of resurrection is by recreating the body, recreating the memories and thought patterns and then implants them into the body. Again, how many articles do you want me to cite that teach this?
@2edgedsw0rd OK so tell me if you will, how many WT and Awake articles would I need to cite for you to admit that this is what JWs teach? You give me an exact number (and don't choose something ridiculous like 100) you cited the Insight book and I cited the Yearbook, so if I cite 10 more articles would that suffice because I know this teaching and have researched how much it's in the literature.
@2edgedsw0rd Cool so I'm going to give you three tips 1.) Context is really saying "I concede your point but it doesn't fit with my preconceived notion". The people who read these comments know that very well. 2.) JW teachings change so frequently that it's probably better to go with the more recent article as the Insight book still says the generation of 1914 will be alive to see Armageddon. 3.) Maybe the WT should think before they print stuff. Very simple answer indeed.
@2edgedsw0rd Not arguing that, man has a soul and is a living one. The soul is alive. Ez 18:21 says one who turns away from sin will not die. Nowhere in that chapter or book does it refer to the time of the end, so since men can turn away from sin and still die he must be speaking of a spiritual death. What you did here was something called straw-man this is where you set up a position I never took and try to knock that down with your "man IS a living soul" comment. Logical fallacy and sad.
@2edgedsw0rd Look in the 2009 yearbook under God's greatest Miracle and how God "resurrected" Jesus, he recreated his body and recreated him in spirit form and recreated all of his memories. So technically Jesus died forever and a clone took his place. So yes it does give an exact method.
@2edgedsw0rd No what I mean by the exact method is that the Watchtower specifically says God will recreate your body, recreate your memories and mentions nothing about the "non-physical" means. So if by "we" you mean Jehovah's Witnesses, you're apparently not reading the Watchtower. Please don't lie to me, I can cite the WT articles if you want. But now you're saying no one knows the means but he will, hmmm something doesn't add up.
@2edgedsw0rd This has taken you three days to say "God can resurrect us but we don't know how", so again I go back to... I'm fine with that answer the problem is why does the WT describe the exact method and that exact method makes no sense whatsoever? You tried for three days to explain how their method makes sense and now you're reverting to "He can do it, we don't know how". So now can you tell me why they describe the method if it's beyond our comprehension? Very simple indeed.
@2edgedsw0rd - if your non-physical life is your soul then pretty much every Christian on the planet is in agreement. You're just making up terms so that it can still fit with your belief without saying God puts your immortal soul into this cloned, recreated body.
@2edgedsw0rd We're talking a physical body, their physical memories, what terms should I be thinking about it? If God is resurrecting someone and putting their soul back into their body then he's choosing to take it back, so yes immortal soul it is. You're the JW and this is your belief, if you can't explain it then why should anyone believe it's right?
@2edgedsw0rd You're telling me God can't make an exact replica of someone? It sounds to me you're trying to describe a concept that you THINK you understand but everytime you explain it that ends up in a conclusion you don't want to make. Either it's recreated and not original, or it is the original. Again if there's something that is an original part say a soul (spirit is a bad translation of the word) then it makes sense, otherwise it's just a clone.
@2edgedsw0rd If you are destroyed then your DNA is made again, then your memories are made again and implanted into that body it is a copy. Do you want to get into what "Spirit" is really called in the bible, I'd be glad to get into it with you I've studied ancient hebrew and greek at Brown University, it's not "Spirit" it's a soul. If you want to say God copies your DNA, clones your body, recreates your memories but implants your soul as well, that makes sense. But I thought there is no soul
@2edgedsw0rd If it's not the original then some copy of you is getting your reward living forever in paradise for all the hard work you did before you died. Is that OK with you, having a copy of you living forever because you stood fast until the end?
@2edgedsw0rd If you want to say that God will resurrect us but we don't know how I'm actually perfectly fine with that. It's when you tell me how he's going to do it and that way doesn't make sense is where I have the issue. It's not that I don't understand it, I understand completely you seem to think that recreating every part of something somehow makes that the original. We're not talking a CD here.
@2edgedsw0rd And again, why am I still the original me? Because while things get replaced and new memories created it's all on a slide rule of recreation, there's still a part of me that's me. Take your thought further, someone is recreated to look like me, have my memories but behave a different way? That's not me either, it's some wierd watered-down version of me. If no part of it is originally me, if it's not my original memories and it's not my behavior, it won't be me.
@2edgedsw0rd Except that Scientists have already cloned things before, people can buy a clone of their previous pet. It doesn't mean it's the same pet. If you cloned me and brought me up as a Buddhist in China the clone wouldn't act the same as me. Or my example here you clone me and implant my memories into the clone, that clone thinks he's me. But I'm looking right at him, he's not the original me, he's a clone. What's the difference if I died before that process began?
@2edgedsw0rd Why do I want a clone of my Grandmother? That's not my Grandmother, my actual Grandmother is still Dead, God is just creating a replica of her. How selfish are you, "I don't care if it's my actual Grandmother, as long as it's someone who thinks and acts like her I'm happy, my real Grandmother can stay dead." Isn't there something God can do to ensure it's my real Grandmother and not a clone?
@2edgedsw0rd So you don't care if you actually have your Grandmother as long as you have someone that THINKS she's her and ACTS like her. Let's say we downloaded all the stuff from my brain and implanted it into you, does that make you me because you think like me and act like me? No, you're still you, you're not me. You just think and act like me.
@2edgedsw0rd Did you replace the frame on your car too? It can't be your old car if you bought a brand new everything, if I have a 2009 black saturn, then buy a new 2009 black saturn with the same features I don't have the same car. Let's say my memories get implanted in you, does that make you me or do you just THINK you're me? I think I'm talking over your head, do you want me to use smaller words?
@2edgedsw0rd And you missed my point that it's like a slide rule, say it takes cells different times between 1 and 5 years to regenerate. The ones that regenerate every year will be there with older cells, the ones that generate every 5 years will be there will older cells as well, at no point will you have cells alive that were not in your body with older cells. Look at Abdelmnost's post, central neurons do not die since birth, so your argument is moot.
Great point. I had come to this same conclusion years ago after watching the 1996 movie "Multiplicity." In response to the argument that the body we have is made up of completely different cells than we had at birth: this is a flawed argument, as the vast majority of central neuron are preserved from birth (e.g., see Nowakowski, R. S., "Stable neuron numbers from cradle to grave." 2006 PNAS v 103 (33). 12219-12220). The brain is what truly makes us who we are, and it is not made up of new cells
@2edgedsw0rd Right now do you have any cells in you that were alive with older cells? Those older cells were they around with even older cells? So therefore it's a process where there is always a part of you that was the same as before, it doesn't just happen all at once.
@2edgedsw0rd And you do realize that at no time are all your cells replaced at one time right, so there is no one day that you are a brand new you, they are staggard and hence there is always a cell which was around for the previous you.
@TimKilgore The Bible says it knows who ppl r when they're inside the womb & God know how many hairs r on a person's head. As best I know DNA determines that. If God can remember every individual star, trillions of them, he can resurrect dead ppls DNA without the brokenness of sin in the code.
If there is any recreation to be gotten by us it would seem it would be now while 'making our minds over' & not living for the flesh.
@TimKilgore Tim, resurrection & recreation rn't the same thing.
Let's look at ur question from a different perspective. Imagine a blind person gains his sight after 40yrs of complete blindness. Is he dealing w/the same ppl now that he can c them, or r they different in some way that ultimately changes the core of who these ppl r to him?
The resurrection gives 2 ppl what they've never had. That of course being perfect bodies. Ppl rn't recreated from the dead. They r resurrected from the dead.
@MALACHAI39 Your example doesn't exactly compare the blind person is only looking at the same people that is a perception question. You addressed my question in one sentence without ever touching the real issue. If a person isn't in their original body, their memories are recreated, and there's nothing original about their "resurrected" selves then they were recreated.
@TimKilgore They like to jump off topic, and use "examples" which just are more confusing. The bible is using words loosely, they mean recreation not resurrection.
@TimKilgore@MALACHAI39 If God created man from dust, why would He not be able to do the same in the future? This seems to be a trivial matter of importance. I think the study of language would be interesting. In ancient languages, did words exist to even distinguish the two? In contemporary times, even in the more complicated English language two words can mean the same thing, and the same word can mean two different things

@dbrageagainst2 It's more a culmination of all of them together that causes the issues with staying. The one entitled "Final Tough Question" is the exact reason I left the religion.
I think we take for granted that other languages ( esp some of older languages) have far less words. It would be interesting to ask what are the origins of the word? In what context was it used during that historical period? And how did the people at that time interpret its meaning? When was a new word recognized and incorporated into the English language as we know it and how has its definition changed over time? Many of the Jehovahs Witnesses I know take time to research and reason :)
@tymc1985 Well you'll have to introduce me to those JWs because most of the ones I know don't even take the time to research their own publications. The context of that word literally means to rise up, like waking up somewhat. To live again essentially.
@bengiamino91 Ben you're mixing phrases here though, you're using an english word to define a greek concept, then you're using an alternate translation of a Greek word to support that english concept. Matt 19:28 many use to show the actual Earth would be destroyed and a new one in it's place. As for the trinity, there's FAR more scriptures than John 1:1. If you want to PM me I'd be more than happy to go into it with you, it's a clear bible based teaching (and I'm an atheist).
This is not new to you, I realize. But the point is that people have often looked at individual words and phrases rather than the bibles message as a whole - with further study revealing that the bible does not contradict itself. Anyway I do not expect you to reason the same as I, but i respect you asking questions, thats how you get answers. In all fairness the witnesses should not have treated you neglectfully.
Rather than looking at individual words, its good to look at the whole picture and message of the bible. This is how people came to think that John 1:1 implied the existence of God, Jesus and the holy spirit as a trinity. But the bible as a whole supports God as the most high, Jesus as his son and the Holy spirit as gods active force.
When Jesus was talking about the re-creation in Matthew 19:28, good study of the bible will show you that he meant the renewal of the earth including those resurrected. In other translations the same text reads: "Jesus replied, "I assure you that when the world is made new" or "Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things" or "Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world."
Hi there, in response to your question: You mentioned that re-creation means to create again. And what does create mean? According to one dictionary create means: to bring into existence. So if God was going to bring someone back into existence, this can simply mean re-create. As mentioned in the bible and which you are no doubt familiar with - resurrection means to bring back to life.
God is far more powerful than you can imagine! He can actually make your Grandma EXACTLY the same as she was before she died. She doesn't need her old, decaying body in the ground. It is useless in that form. Jehovah God simply (for him it's an easy task) makes a new body, exact in every detail, including memories, and everything else about her. You would never be able to tell the difference. I think the 're-creation' at Matthew 19:28 refers to the return to paradise conditions on earth.
@eternityandforever Except humans are pretty powerful too, I can make an exact copy of a CD but it's still not the original is it? You wouldn't be able to tell the difference either that doesn't mean they're the same. If you want to say "God is going to do it somehow but we don't know exactly how" I'm cool with that, just don't say the method he will accomplish something and have it not make logical sense. Isnt that going beyond what is written because nowhere does it say how God will do this
Here is the answer to your question and like you I have always wondered about questions of my own. The JW were unable to answer them and after reviewing several greek manuscripts I realized that their version of the Bible was inaccurate. How is recreation the same thing as a resurrection? The answer is it is not. In 1 Corinthians 15:40 we find "There are also bodies in the heavens and bodies on the earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the glory of the earthly bodies.
That's your tough question ? I mean seriously ! Sorry about your concussions , seems that that didn't help . And your illustration does not apply to what Jehovah is capable of . Come on Tim ! (sorry about my English )
Would you seriously want to come back in the same body? Years of damage done by wrestling in an imperfect body? You have pretty much sat there and answered your own question. I once questioned something, and then listened when a answer was given. If you were to be a person who is to be brought back, you are brought back with a new perfect body. I dont see anything wrong with that. In fact I will put a order in for a perfect figure.
You have to remember that we are only human and God is the creator. It doesn't really have to make sense to your human mind for it to be possible. I know there's a lot of holes in the religion but we really don't have the right to question the creator. I know that don't answer the question but no one but God can answer that one sorry
Every religion under the self-claimed Christian umbrella has the same flaw as the one that this video addresses. No one knows what constitutes a specific person. While the JWs are arguably calling a replacement a "resurrection" ... Catholics and Protestants aren't able to tell us if there was 2 Jesuses -vs- If Jesus was dead on a Cross (and in a cave; afterwards) OR if he was alive in Hell at that time.
Nor can anyone explain what constitutes "Jesus" when Marry had a single fertilized cell.
again I am not a JW but am looking for anwsers for the truth of religion and if anyone has any info I may have missed please please please mail me for I am truely trying ti find the truth of it all as creation has anwsered more questions for me than science (although science takes amajor role in creation)
if you have a new body lets say thats re-creation yes? but u have the same thoughts so your thoughts are reserected, outside appearence dont matter only you as the person does, ur personality and thoughts. so whats the difference kinda the same thing isent it?
What is the scripture that talks about what you are describing? loved ones being resurrected and all that. My best advice to you dude, ..you should get your head out of the New World Translation of the Bible. That's first. Second; understand that Jehovah's Witnesses, are NOT Christian. Don't get it twisted. If your salvation doesn't rest in Christ alone, --> The Biblical Christ, who IS God, and NOT Michael. Unless your salvation rests in Christ, you are NOT a Christian. It's not about works
@musikalfuture it still lies in christ as christ saved us from his ransom sacrifice, christ cannot be god as when he was baptized god spoke and said this is my son the chosen one my beloved, how can he be God speaking when he is getting baptized? micheal is jesus's name in heaven when he is performing his heavenly role and also jesus christ will be king over us for 1000 years according to scriptures old and new in the resserection, even a non JW like me can see all that =/
@Toliverant First of all, what is a 'ransom' sacrifice anyway? Christ wasn't 'ransomed.' He died on the cross willingly, and knowingly because of His love for humanity. Secondly, I definitely don't expect you to understand how Christ can be God, while God was speaking at the same time. If you don't at least attempt to understand the Triune nature of God, you won't understand the answer to your question. btw, what scripture states that Jesus is Michael again? I think I may have missed that one.
Respond to this video...on top of all of this, how do you really think you could possibly understand God at all in the first place? you may understand God's character to an extent, but how can you understand the divine workings of God in the first place. How God could speak things into existence, or how do you understand anything of the spiritual realm in at all. You really can't. We are human, with not even the most remote understanding of the supernatural whatsoever.

@musikalfuture firstly Gods understanding comes from deep bible studying & understanding it says that God is the author of the bible & you should leanr about him from the bible, also the baylonians who where renouned for pagan worship invented the trinity, a ransom sacrifice is a sacrifice of free will to amke up for a mistake i believe... and it is to make up for adams mistake bieng a perfect human to fall to sin, so jesus had to counter balance adams sin hang on i'll write more
@musikalfuture also to do with the trinity it says that when jesus whas baptized god spoke and said this is my SON my beloved and my chosen one and jesus always refered to god as the father and even when he said if u have seen me u have seen the lord he ment he is like Jehovah or YHYW in nature (personality) not litteral and as for him bieng micheal, micheal is clased as the word and jesus also is classed as the word and thier personalities are simmilair and in revalation it says the king
of the messianic kingdom micheal will ride the white horse and judge the world and also it states that jesus is the king of the messianic kingdom which he rightfully earned that kingship due to his sacrifice and is now an immmortal creature not needing gods holy spirit to survive, althoug king he is not god
@Toliverant one more thing, you still failed to explain salvation, or how it works for the JW. 99% of the different Biblical translations all correlate with each other, however, the NWT is different. What gives you the authority to change the Word of God. It's not acceptable. It's not that the NWT just changes small things. They are HUGE differences. i.e. John 1:1. If the Word is 'a' god, while also residing 'with' God, then now you are polytheists and thats just not ok with God.
@musikalfuture no ive not changed the context of the bible the bile itself hasbeen changed i know this from comparing the JW version of it to the original version, king james 1st or 1 before it cant member its been a while, and its all correct same as hell was added to the bible even though sheol and hades translates to the commen grave thers alot more to it to discuss over the tube of you, i could give u my msn addy to discuss further thigns but member that gods names was taken out of the bible
@musikalfuture i think the new world translations got changed arounf 1666 and again at 1950 again this is going from what i remember from my research, but most of the langauge was changed from old english to modern hence why when u rwad the original version of job for example it has words like dost (does) thy and thou and all that bullshit
@musikalfuture but also the name of god Jehovah or YHYW (old hebrew is spelt backwards btw) got taken out and hell and shit got put in aswell as alot of other stuff
@Toliverant I'm failing to understand how you compared the NWT to the KJV, and found the NWT to be more accurate. The KJV of the Bible was written in the 1600's. The NWT was written in the 60's. ...1960's.
The problem isn't the arguments you are making, I would agree with you, everything you just told me, is definitely in the NWT, you are correct. But not all of it is accurate to the the countless thousands of translations from before the NWT. That's why I said get your head out of the NWT.
@musikalfuture ive looked up alot of translations and have just compared and summarised I am not saying i am 100% accurate but after 4 years of research and comparing and conmparing to jewish belifies of old testament (which is the orignal form of this religion) I have come with decent anwsers to my findings also i find it hard to deibelieve the JW even though i aint one, after thier 1914 prophicey and seeing that the united nations are slowly turning against religion
also salvation is by doing gods will wich is preaching, ministry works and upholding his laws how many religions do ministry work alot nowadays except the mormons and the JW? and how many use gods name? salvation is christ's sacrifice which is why the mosiac law is abolished, and we no longer have to sacrifice animals
@Toliverant one's Salvation doesn't have to do with the works that he does. That's the point. Which is why I really don't understand why JW are so adamant about working so much. Salvation is a free gift, a GIFT, from God, Jesus. All we have to do is accept it. The Bible is clear about faith and works. Eph 2:8-9. lol, even in the NWT. the JW is twisted, it doesn't make sense.
@musikalfuture not really I am not a JW as i have said but find thier ways more correct, jesus said we must work and all the apostles and deciples did ministry work to spread the word of god, it aint an easy religion to follow i know but jesus also said the beware of the wolf in lambs clothing and you will know the right religion from its fruites meaning good trees bare good fine fruit
@Toliverant all of the work, ministry, preaching, everything that you said, are all simply fruits, or 'proofs' of your salvation. If you are saved through Christ, then naturally, by His spirit, you will want to serve. Works are not what give you your salvation, they are a byproduct of your salvation. Fruits, and product of you fulfilling the Great Commission, given to us by Jesus as He was ascending into Heaven.
@musikalfuture good point, but it takes more than just knowing and acknowledging the religion and christ and god, it says in revalation that sides will be taking basically, wether u know it or not hence meaning you could pick satans side without knowing it unless u take true reading into gods way, also since i have learnt united nations are talking bout the defamation of religion (which only the JW have predicted) im more on the JW side than any other form
@Toliverant I'm confused again my friend. The defamation of Christianity is all throughout the book of Revelation. This isn't news to anybody. It's been going on for centuries. The entire world in the end times will be against religion, Christianity in specific. So to give a 'prophecy,' which has already been given is useless. Revelation says the world will be turned over to evil. JW could have said it about any country and they would be right (even though Revelation already made it clear.)
@musikalfuture i take it you know about the scarlet coloured 7 headed beast yes? wich is the pinicle point of satans visible govermental rule on earth? if you have then the JW describe the 7heads as the 7world powers that had influence overgods word i.e. egypt, babylon, greeks, persia, anglo america etc the 10 horns are current world powers it says the beast willput an end to all religion for goodthe UN are trying this i got links and proof and the links have sources of this info...more to come
@Toliverant I understand what your saying, it's called 'Communism.' Russia, China, and countless other countries have had this mastered for a very long time. However, the underground 'Christian' churches throughout those countries have flourished. Hundreds of communist tormentors, prison guards, leadership, etc. all throughout the country of China, and Russia have been saved due to the "works" of Christian martyrs, it's not bc of JW. The underground Christian church flourish in those countries.

We will be glorified, resurrected like Jesus, (1John 3:2).
ukulelemike 5 months ago
Only God knows, who can really know how he will resurrect back into creation, no man can answer how and in what order the particals of matter came to be in human excistance,to become a living being,or what motive was behind the cause to become.
ansermam 5 months ago
you will take notice of his place but he will not be there,so you would have the same memory as it was so with christ as he remembered his disciples, also one thing is known in the science community that when cloning animals they do not have the same personality or soul. They are diffrent, this can not be cloned only because it is given, but just as the soul cannot live without the body, just as it is with heart without the brain, amino acids without protien in the Dnathe pairity's equal one
ansermam 5 months ago
listen wat ur asking. you are a human comparing god to a scientist. that was ur first mistake sorry. not a hard question man. they arent the same thing. god will ressurect we dont kno how. we cant kno how! we cant understand how he does things. but hey if u ask me id take re creation or ressurection lol its a hope! no other religion preaches that.

TimKilgore 7 months ago
@TimKilgore Can you please provide references of where the WT said god is "making a copy of each person" and the "method" with which he does it. I only ask because human understand of life and how it got here (scientifically) is quite limited. There are plenty of dogmatic methods, but can someone explain the process of recreation without first explaining the process of creation?

I don't think its far fetched. She is still your grandma, our bodies renew themselves every 7 years so we don't have the same bodies as we were when we were kids but it is still us. God knows alot more than a cloning scientist, So I have faith that I will see my mom agian, and Im not a Witness anymore either but that seems to hold up to what the bible teaches.
lulu2dani 7 months ago
It is true that those who died years ago, their bodies all corrupted. While we do not yet know what kind of a body they will have when their soul/spirit returns, we do know that G-d can prepare (not re-create) a body for them, He. 10:5; Ge. 2:7.
Aaron2895 7 months ago
It is not true when we die we cease to exist. If that were true, Stephen would not have asked Jesus re: his spirit, Elijah would not have prayed for something to return that doesn't exist after death, and those under the altar would not speak b/c they don't exist. Ac 7:58, 59; 1 Ki 17:20-22; Rev. 6:9-11.
Aaron2895 7 months ago
Mt. 10:28, Ez. 18:4, our body dies/can be killed, but the soul lives unless killed by G-d. Ps. 146:4, Ecc. 12:7 when we die, our spirit goes out & returns to the G-d who gave it. Lk 8:52-55 when one's spirit returns to the body, one is resurrected (stands up [again]).

and 2nd.if you beleive jehovah in the beggining created all living things earth, heavens, angels, humans than nothing is impossible for him.nothing wrong with asking questions even the apostles didnt understand things fully and even the witnesses today dont claim to have all the answers.remember as that day gets closer the light gets brighter.its the things that we know to be true and in the present that we should be privledged to know.
mkruse820 7 months ago
@mkruse820 I never said I didn't think God COULDN'T do it, I'm saying the way the Watchtower explains HOW he's going to do it makes no sense. If every single part of a person is recreated then it's not the same person. If I cloned your father, made him able to walk and uploaded his memories into the clone is it your father or did I just create something that THINKS they're your father? The Watchtower says this explicitely so yes they do say they know the answer.
TimKilgore 7 months ago
the scriptures also exlain that old will become young again....even tho they may have the same mind, heart, personality they may no longer look as they did when they were old.just the fact that jehovah would care enough about us to resurect us to a perfect human body.when my dad died he had been parilyzed for 30 yrs they eventually had to amputate both of his leggs.so im sure he will welcome his new body!!!

I always say it's better to have questions I can't answer, instead of answers I can't question.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
Why are you respond to our answer ? In this video you ask how can god resurrect the dead when the bodies are destroyed, you said it's sounds like a re creation? That was your question DUMMY, now I have answered it in a way that makes you look stupid . Everyone watch this video and see how I answered it and why tim won't respond to my answer
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
You are afraid to respond to our answers because you know were right and your not really seeking answers. Everyone reading this find Tims video on charity work and you'll see I caught Tim in a lie and that proves none of his stories are creditable
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
@TheTruthSpeakerBox Aw, except for the fact you can go back to my Myspace from the time and see my blog on it and see comments from people who volunteered there with me. I don't know why people like you want to be caught the fool so much, people who watch my videos also know ad hominem attacks no matter how hard you try still don't answer the questions or discredit the message. The biggest asshole in the world can still have a good point.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
Haha, that's all you gotta say based on our answers to your questions? I thought you were seeking answers for your daughter? Well me and Ivory2007 and 0723Breanna answered the question on this video. So why haven't you respond to our answer if your purpose on your channel is to seek answers for your daughter?
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
My last comment to demwill got cut off. What I was saying was for an example, for humans to try to comprehend how there is no beginning is like trying to explain to a dog how a jet engine works, will will never understand how god made the universe, just as a dog will never understand how a jet engine works
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
@TheTruthSpeakerBox Appeal to authority, appeal to antiquity, appeal to the unknown and special pleading. You are a wealth of logical fallacies aren't you?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
Tim avoided this video because he calls his cannel tough questions for JWs, however he's really not seeking answers. His whole purpose is to bash JWs online. Tims mind is made up. He's not looking for Amy real answers. That's why he avoided replying to our comments because he knows we answers his question with the right answer. Why can't he just admit were right?
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
And the last person I'm gonna address is TImKilgore. Just yesterday Tim replied to a few of my answers, but like half of my comments he did not reply to our answers on this video, however he was online and cherry picked which answers he would reply to. The question is why did he avoid this video?
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
Now humans can't comprehend something not having a beginning, so you will drive your brain crazy trying to figure out a beginning, you will keep going back and back and back searching for a beginning. But there is NO beginning . The bible says god has no beginning or end and humans will never be able to understand that god has no beginning. So go ahead demwill , you and your scientist keep trying to find a beginning , and you will never be able to explain. For example it's like trying to expl
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
How did the ball fill with energy? How was the ball formed? How long has it been there? What ever formed the ball where did that come from? You can keep going back and back and back in time wondering where each thing that cause each came from and it will keep going backwards and there will be NO beginning, no matter how far back you go whatever you find your gonna have the question of ( what formed this, and so on and so on
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
NO, the big bang explains the start of the expansion of the universe but it doesn't explain a beginning . They say a little ball of energy built up pressure over billions of years and it exploded and caused the expansion of the universe. Well where did that ball come from? Where did the energy inside it come from?
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
Now I'm gonna address demwill. You think resurrection is a fairly tale because scientist try to explain everything and if they can't they make up anything that sounds like it makes sense such as the Big bang theory . The bible says god has no beginning or end. Humans can't comprehend that something could such as a god could have no beginning. So you make up this big bang theory to make a beginning. But dose the big bang theory really show a beginning?
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
The next one I'm gonna address is mimdwis3, you ask how pharaoh's magicians also turned there rods into snakes? Well the problem with non believers like you is the you only read parts of the bible, so you don't know what your talking about. Magicians get there power from demons. However if you read the whole book of exodus you'll know the magicians couldn't do everything that Moses did, so your (Lol) just makes us all laugh at you because you don't have any knowledge of the bible
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
Ok folks, I'm gonna address 5 of you, first I'm gonna address Ivory2007 and 0723Breanna, were on the same side but I have to say your stealing my credit for my answers, I'm the first person to stump Tim on his questions so I wanna take credit for my answers, I'm the one who said humans can't comprehend gods powers, and I'm not even a JW, I'm just studying
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
Listen, you need to ask yourself if you believe in God or not. Personally, I like to keep an open mind. I am also a scientist, and I know that resurrection is just a fairy tale. You probably hit the nail on the head with re-creation.
Have you ever lost anyone to death? If you have, then you can probably appreciate the hope that all religions offer of a resurrection or rebirth. This, sadly however, was invented by humans to ease the pain of the grieving ones. Our bodies are just complex machines
demwill 8 months ago
@demwill
and as machines, when you pull the plug, everything is gone.

When other kids did stuff that....
demwill 8 months ago
@demwill
you were not allowed to do? What about birthdays and xmas? I was raised Greek orthodox (it's a bit like Catholicism, but the priests have beards - lol), and we were allowed to be as religious as we liked. I probably went to church twice a year, and I had a 'normal' childhood. My 9 year old daughter who lives with her mom, isn't allowed to partake an any worldly celebrations at school (however, I really do compensate whenever she is with me). I see, however, that she is not truly happy
demwill 8 months ago
@demwill
Just focus on being a good dad, and husband.
demwill 8 months ago
Tim Kilgore, im glad you question someone's doctrines. Now put watchtower ideas aside and open the Bible. The real you is the soul that never dies, not the flesh. 2-Peter 1:14. There will not be recreation but resurrection. Resurrection means transforming of our body to get a body like God. Phil. 3:21. also read 2-cor. 15. it talks about resurrection.
vitsapp 8 months ago
the other part did not post.
vitsapp 8 months ago
Guys please leave watchtower doctrine and read the Bible. the Bible says the flesh will never inherit the Kingdom. Its a dirt and will go back to dirt. Human is made of 3 things, flesh, soul, and spitit that God put in it. the soul is the actual you, flesh is so you could be visible here on earth
vitsapp 8 months ago
The bible teaches resurrection of the dead not re-creation. In truth we know Jehovah God will resurrect individuals but WE DON'T KNOW HOW. No one on Earth knows the exact details. You really hung up on details that shouldn't change your faith in the resurrection. If God himself said he'll resurrect individuals, why should it matter to you how he does it. If someone fixed your broken down car and put a new battery, are you going to refuse to drive it because its not ur old car?
Ivory2007 8 months ago
You said in some of your videos that your doing this for your daughter? How dose bashing JWs on YouTube have anything to do with your daughter? What? You can't talk to her about your beliefs? You must post these videos on YouTube for your daughter? And whats with your stupid introduction to your videos? Is this just a big joke for you?
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago

Ok TimKilgore, you are an idiot , your asking how is god going to resurrect people if there body is destroyed ? That it sounds more like a re-creation? Your asking how can god resurrect when the bodies are gone? That's just as stupid as asking how did god make eve out of Adams riib? Or how did Mary get pregnant when she was a virgin? Are you that dumb? Your asking how god uses his powers, the bible says god will resurrect the dead so he will, the bible can't explain to you (how) gods powers wi
TheTruthSpeakerBox 8 months ago
And if you have sooo many questions why don't you go talk to a JW and ask them urself instead of posting them on YouTube?
Lovebug11o 8 months ago
There two very unlike things!!
Lovebug11o 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd So just those two definitions but then you go on to create another definition by saying it's in God's memory, in other words "future life's prospects". How does Revelation say that God destroys the soul? Doesn't it say something about the second death? Now if the soul is man and it dies when the human dies then how can God kill it again? If the men in Ezekiel weren't judged and killed then he mustn't have been talking about those Israelites was he?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@TimKilgore ok excuse me but 2edged swords answer din make sense to me and im a witness so let me put it this way. Really like you said serving god comes down to your faith. God has told us and shown us that he cannot lie, that every thing he says comes true (Hebrew 6:18 states: it is impossible for god to lie.) And look at the account when God told Aaron and Moses that thy would die because they claimed that they brot water from the rock wen it was really god. and did they die... yes!
0723Breanna 8 months ago
@TimKilgore So now that we KNOW that God cannot lie because he is perfect. He says he will raised up our loved ones. We dont know how he will do it but we know he will because he cant lie. So Jehovahs power is really too advanced for the human mind to even comprehend. Jehovah doesnt tell us how he'll do it he just tells us that he'll do it and he doesnt tel us why on purpose because he wants us to have faith in him. Because faith is the key to resurrection
0723Breanna 8 months ago
@TimKilgore So we dont know how god'll will resurect and recreate a person nd they still be th same person but like I said his power is too great for the human minds to comprehend. Heck! we dont even know everything about the human body yet but Jehovah does because he made us!
0723Breanna 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Ah, so then soul means life and soul means a living creature at the same time? OK these are the ONLY two definitions you will use for this correct? You promise to use no more. So then my scripture in Matthew I used, how can one kill the body but not the soul? Your two definitions are life and living creature, can I kill a living creature but not take his life? Can I take someone's life but leave a living creature? BTW when were the men in Ezekiel judged and killed by God?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Yes you are changing the meaning because now you're defining soul as a breather. Ez 18:21 "Now as regards someone wicked, in case he should turn back from all his sins that he has committed and he should actually keep all my statutes and execute justice and righteousness, he will positively keep living. He will not die." So you said he was talking to Israel right, could you please point to the man who repented and did not die, can I talk to him?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Ah so you're going to change the definition of the word as you see fit. Someone hasn't seen my other video on the subject have you. Again your re-stating my position, soul is alive inside the body while the body breathes, once that body stops breathing the body is no longer a living soul but that doesn't mean the soul is not alive. So the people Ezekiel spoke to, which one of the repented and is still alive like he told them?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Ah but what did the beginning of the scripture say, when God breathed the breath of life into man he then became a living soul. If a soul is inside man then man is a living soul, if a soul is outside of the body the man is dead but the soul is alive. If a sinner repents he will not die, if a sinner repents right now and the end does not come within 200 years will he die or not? If he does die then either that scripture is wrong or it means spiritual death.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Another comment and another straw man argument. What did I just say in my response? The soul is alive inside of the man and he is defined by his soul. The next verse says that if a sinner repents he will not die. Is there a reason you're ignoring this scripture? If it's spiritual death and spiritual life discussed in Ez 18 then there's only 1 soul and it's immortal. So are you going to address my actual points or make up some more that I didn't even discuss?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Cite the sources man, you start citing Watchtowers and then I will. Ez 18:20 is easily refuted: it refers to spiritual death and is obvious from context, since 18:21 says a wicked man that turns away will not die. Since all men die physically, this must be talking about the spiritual, or "second" death. This is backed up by Matt 10:28. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Yay Bible Batmitton, this is a game you're going to lose man.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd I see your ONE scripture and raise you TWO, Satan blinds the eyes of the unbelievers and Satan transforms himself into an angel of light, how can someone sin if they think they're right and they're blinded to seeing real truth. OK so how will God re-pattern without recreating? They're two different thoughts then explain how they are. Again the WT specifically states resurrection occurs by recreating a body and thoughts then implanting thoughts into the body.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Some might think your immortal soul is implanted inside of a new body. If you don't really know the method then why did you mark that one as being a method incapable by God? You have thus far cited one source which you've cited wrong. I would suggest you do some actual research on it, as I've said numerous times I'm willing to cite NUMEROUS WT sources that show the teaching as I've said, but yeah that's not properly says the man who doesn't even want to see them.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Not exactly, cite your source article. The method of resurrection is by recreating the body, recreating the memories and thought patterns and then implants them into the body. Again, how many articles do you want me to cite that teach this?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd OK so tell me if you will, how many WT and Awake articles would I need to cite for you to admit that this is what JWs teach? You give me an exact number (and don't choose something ridiculous like 100) you cited the Insight book and I cited the Yearbook, so if I cite 10 more articles would that suffice because I know this teaching and have researched how much it's in the literature.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Cool so I'm going to give you three tips 1.) Context is really saying "I concede your point but it doesn't fit with my preconceived notion". The people who read these comments know that very well. 2.) JW teachings change so frequently that it's probably better to go with the more recent article as the Insight book still says the generation of 1914 will be alive to see Armageddon. 3.) Maybe the WT should think before they print stuff. Very simple answer indeed.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Not arguing that, man has a soul and is a living one. The soul is alive. Ez 18:21 says one who turns away from sin will not die. Nowhere in that chapter or book does it refer to the time of the end, so since men can turn away from sin and still die he must be speaking of a spiritual death. What you did here was something called straw-man this is where you set up a position I never took and try to knock that down with your "man IS a living soul" comment. Logical fallacy and sad.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Look in the 2009 yearbook under God's greatest Miracle and how God "resurrected" Jesus, he recreated his body and recreated him in spirit form and recreated all of his memories. So technically Jesus died forever and a clone took his place. So yes it does give an exact method.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd No what I mean by the exact method is that the Watchtower specifically says God will recreate your body, recreate your memories and mentions nothing about the "non-physical" means. So if by "we" you mean Jehovah's Witnesses, you're apparently not reading the Watchtower. Please don't lie to me, I can cite the WT articles if you want. But now you're saying no one knows the means but he will, hmmm something doesn't add up.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd This has taken you three days to say "God can resurrect us but we don't know how", so again I go back to... I'm fine with that answer the problem is why does the WT describe the exact method and that exact method makes no sense whatsoever? You tried for three days to explain how their method makes sense and now you're reverting to "He can do it, we don't know how". So now can you tell me why they describe the method if it's beyond our comprehension? Very simple indeed.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd - if your non-physical life is your soul then pretty much every Christian on the planet is in agreement. You're just making up terms so that it can still fit with your belief without saying God puts your immortal soul into this cloned, recreated body.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd We're talking a physical body, their physical memories, what terms should I be thinking about it? If God is resurrecting someone and putting their soul back into their body then he's choosing to take it back, so yes immortal soul it is. You're the JW and this is your belief, if you can't explain it then why should anyone believe it's right?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Nope, but it does mean you would have an immortal soul.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd You're telling me God can't make an exact replica of someone? It sounds to me you're trying to describe a concept that you THINK you understand but everytime you explain it that ends up in a conclusion you don't want to make. Either it's recreated and not original, or it is the original. Again if there's something that is an original part say a soul (spirit is a bad translation of the word) then it makes sense, otherwise it's just a clone.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd If you are destroyed then your DNA is made again, then your memories are made again and implanted into that body it is a copy. Do you want to get into what "Spirit" is really called in the bible, I'd be glad to get into it with you I've studied ancient hebrew and greek at Brown University, it's not "Spirit" it's a soul. If you want to say God copies your DNA, clones your body, recreates your memories but implants your soul as well, that makes sense. But I thought there is no soul
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd If it's not the original then some copy of you is getting your reward living forever in paradise for all the hard work you did before you died. Is that OK with you, having a copy of you living forever because you stood fast until the end?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd If you want to say that God will resurrect us but we don't know how I'm actually perfectly fine with that. It's when you tell me how he's going to do it and that way doesn't make sense is where I have the issue. It's not that I don't understand it, I understand completely you seem to think that recreating every part of something somehow makes that the original. We're not talking a CD here.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd And again, why am I still the original me? Because while things get replaced and new memories created it's all on a slide rule of recreation, there's still a part of me that's me. Take your thought further, someone is recreated to look like me, have my memories but behave a different way? That's not me either, it's some wierd watered-down version of me. If no part of it is originally me, if it's not my original memories and it's not my behavior, it won't be me.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Except that Scientists have already cloned things before, people can buy a clone of their previous pet. It doesn't mean it's the same pet. If you cloned me and brought me up as a Buddhist in China the clone wouldn't act the same as me. Or my example here you clone me and implant my memories into the clone, that clone thinks he's me. But I'm looking right at him, he's not the original me, he's a clone. What's the difference if I died before that process began?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Why do I want a clone of my Grandmother? That's not my Grandmother, my actual Grandmother is still Dead, God is just creating a replica of her. How selfish are you, "I don't care if it's my actual Grandmother, as long as it's someone who thinks and acts like her I'm happy, my real Grandmother can stay dead." Isn't there something God can do to ensure it's my real Grandmother and not a clone?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd So you don't care if you actually have your Grandmother as long as you have someone that THINKS she's her and ACTS like her. Let's say we downloaded all the stuff from my brain and implanted it into you, does that make you me because you think like me and act like me? No, you're still you, you're not me. You just think and act like me.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Did you replace the frame on your car too? It can't be your old car if you bought a brand new everything, if I have a 2009 black saturn, then buy a new 2009 black saturn with the same features I don't have the same car. Let's say my memories get implanted in you, does that make you me or do you just THINK you're me? I think I'm talking over your head, do you want me to use smaller words?
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd And you missed my point that it's like a slide rule, say it takes cells different times between 1 and 5 years to regenerate. The ones that regenerate every year will be there with older cells, the ones that generate every 5 years will be there will older cells as well, at no point will you have cells alive that were not in your body with older cells. Look at Abdelmnost's post, central neurons do not die since birth, so your argument is moot.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
Great point. I had come to this same conclusion years ago after watching the 1996 movie "Multiplicity." In response to the argument that the body we have is made up of completely different cells than we had at birth: this is a flawed argument, as the vast majority of central neuron are preserved from birth (e.g., see Nowakowski, R. S., "Stable neuron numbers from cradle to grave." 2006 PNAS v 103 (33). 12219-12220). The brain is what truly makes us who we are, and it is not made up of new cells
ABDELMNOST 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd Right now do you have any cells in you that were alive with older cells? Those older cells were they around with even older cells? So therefore it's a process where there is always a part of you that was the same as before, it doesn't just happen all at once.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@2edgedsw0rd And you do realize that at no time are all your cells replaced at one time right, so there is no one day that you are a brand new you, they are staggard and hence there is always a cell which was around for the previous you.
TimKilgore 8 months ago
@TimKilgore The Bible says it knows who ppl r when they're inside the womb & God know how many hairs r on a person's head. As best I know DNA determines that. If God can remember every individual star, trillions of them, he can resurrect dead ppls DNA without the brokenness of sin in the code.
If there is any recreation to be gotten by us it would seem it would be now while 'making our minds over' & not living for the flesh.
MALACHAI39 9 months ago
@TimKilgore Tim, resurrection & recreation rn't the same thing.
Let's look at ur question from a different perspective. Imagine a blind person gains his sight after 40yrs of complete blindness. Is he dealing w/the same ppl now that he can c them, or r they different in some way that ultimately changes the core of who these ppl r to him?
The resurrection gives 2 ppl what they've never had. That of course being perfect bodies. Ppl rn't recreated from the dead. They r resurrected from the dead.
MALACHAI39 9 months ago
@MALACHAI39 Your example doesn't exactly compare the blind person is only looking at the same people that is a perception question. You addressed my question in one sentence without ever touching the real issue. If a person isn't in their original body, their memories are recreated, and there's nothing original about their "resurrected" selves then they were recreated.
TimKilgore 9 months ago
@TimKilgore They like to jump off topic, and use "examples" which just are more confusing. The bible is using words loosely, they mean recreation not resurrection.
JoelB3783 9 months ago
@TimKilgore @MALACHAI39 If God created man from dust, why would He not be able to do the same in the future? This seems to be a trivial matter of importance. I think the study of language would be interesting. In ancient languages, did words exist to even distinguish the two? In contemporary times, even in the more complicated English language two words can mean the same thing, and the same word can mean two different things

These questions are not in depth enough to leave the religion though
dbrageagainst2 9 months ago
@dbrageagainst2 It's more a culmination of all of them together that causes the issues with staying. The one entitled "Final Tough Question" is the exact reason I left the religion.
TimKilgore 9 months ago
I think we take for granted that other languages ( esp some of older languages) have far less words. It would be interesting to ask what are the origins of the word? In what context was it used during that historical period? And how did the people at that time interpret its meaning? When was a new word recognized and incorporated into the English language as we know it and how has its definition changed over time? Many of the Jehovahs Witnesses I know take time to research and reason :)
tymc1985 9 months ago
@tymc1985 Well you'll have to introduce me to those JWs because most of the ones I know don't even take the time to research their own publications. The context of that word literally means to rise up, like waking up somewhat. To live again essentially.

bengiamino91 9 months ago
I hope they have not put you off in reaching out for the hope for the future the bible offers. All best, Ben...
bengiamino91 9 months ago
@bengiamino91 Ben you're mixing phrases here though, you're using an english word to define a greek concept, then you're using an alternate translation of a Greek word to support that english concept. Matt 19:28 many use to show the actual Earth would be destroyed and a new one in it's place. As for the trinity, there's FAR more scriptures than John 1:1. If you want to PM me I'd be more than happy to go into it with you, it's a clear bible based teaching (and I'm an atheist).
TimKilgore 9 months ago
This is not new to you, I realize. But the point is that people have often looked at individual words and phrases rather than the bibles message as a whole - with further study revealing that the bible does not contradict itself. Anyway I do not expect you to reason the same as I, but i respect you asking questions, thats how you get answers. In all fairness the witnesses should not have treated you neglectfully.
bengiamino91 9 months ago

Toliverant 11 months ago
if you have a new body lets say thats re-creation yes? but u have the same thoughts so your thoughts are reserected, outside appearence dont matter only you as the person does, ur personality and thoughts. so whats the difference kinda the same thing isent it?
Toliverant 11 months ago
What is the scripture that talks about what you are describing? loved ones being resurrected and all that. My best advice to you dude, ..you should get your head out of the New World Translation of the Bible. That's first. Second; understand that Jehovah's Witnesses, are NOT Christian. Don't get it twisted. If your salvation doesn't rest in Christ alone, --> The Biblical Christ, who IS God, and NOT Michael. Unless your salvation rests in Christ, you are NOT a Christian. It's not about works
musikalfuture 11 months ago
@musikalfuture it still lies in christ as christ saved us from his ransom sacrifice, christ cannot be god as when he was baptized god spoke and said this is my son the chosen one my beloved, how can he be God speaking when he is getting baptized? micheal is jesus's name in heaven when he is performing his heavenly role and also jesus christ will be king over us for 1000 years according to scriptures old and new in the resserection, even a non JW like me can see all that =/
Toliverant 11 months ago

@musikalfuture firstly Gods understanding comes from deep bible studying & understanding it says that God is the author of the bible & you should leanr about him from the bible, also the baylonians who where renouned for pagan worship invented the trinity, a ransom sacrifice is a sacrifice of free will to amke up for a mistake i believe... and it is to make up for adams mistake bieng a perfect human to fall to sin, so jesus had to counter balance adams sin hang on i'll write more
Toliverant 11 months ago
@musikalfuture also to do with the trinity it says that when jesus whas baptized god spoke and said this is my SON my beloved and my chosen one and jesus always refered to god as the father and even when he said if u have seen me u have seen the lord he ment he is like Jehovah or YHYW in nature (personality) not litteral and as for him bieng micheal, micheal is clased as the word and jesus also is classed as the word and thier personalities are simmilair and in revalation it says the king
Toliverant 11 months ago
of the messianic kingdom micheal will ride the white horse and judge the world and also it states that jesus is the king of the messianic kingdom which he rightfully earned that kingship due to his sacrifice and is now an immmortal creature not needing gods holy spirit to survive, althoug king he is not god
Toliverant 11 months ago
@Toliverant one more thing, you still failed to explain salvation, or how it works for the JW. 99% of the different Biblical translations all correlate with each other, however, the NWT is different. What gives you the authority to change the Word of God. It's not acceptable. It's not that the NWT just changes small things. They are HUGE differences. i.e. John 1:1. If the Word is 'a' god, while also residing 'with' God, then now you are polytheists and thats just not ok with God.
musikalfuture 11 months ago
@musikalfuture no ive not changed the context of the bible the bile itself hasbeen changed i know this from comparing the JW version of it to the original version, king james 1st or 1 before it cant member its been a while, and its all correct same as hell was added to the bible even though sheol and hades translates to the commen grave thers alot more to it to discuss over the tube of you, i could give u my msn addy to discuss further thigns but member that gods names was taken out of the bible
Toliverant 11 months ago
@Toliverant what year was the NWT written?
musikalfuture 11 months ago
@musikalfuture i think the new world translations got changed arounf 1666 and again at 1950 again this is going from what i remember from my research, but most of the langauge was changed from old english to modern hence why when u rwad the original version of job for example it has words like dost (does) thy and thou and all that bullshit
Toliverant 11 months ago
@musikalfuture but also the name of god Jehovah or YHYW (old hebrew is spelt backwards btw) got taken out and hell and shit got put in aswell as alot of other stuff
Toliverant 11 months ago
@Toliverant I'm failing to understand how you compared the NWT to the KJV, and found the NWT to be more accurate. The KJV of the Bible was written in the 1600's. The NWT was written in the 60's. ...1960's.
The problem isn't the arguments you are making, I would agree with you, everything you just told me, is definitely in the NWT, you are correct. But not all of it is accurate to the the countless thousands of translations from before the NWT. That's why I said get your head out of the NWT.
musikalfuture 11 months ago
@musikalfuture ive looked up alot of translations and have just compared and summarised I am not saying i am 100% accurate but after 4 years of research and comparing and conmparing to jewish belifies of old testament (which is the orignal form of this religion) I have come with decent anwsers to my findings also i find it hard to deibelieve the JW even though i aint one, after thier 1914 prophicey and seeing that the united nations are slowly turning against religion
Toliverant 11 months ago
also salvation is by doing gods will wich is preaching, ministry works and upholding his laws how many religions do ministry work alot nowadays except the mormons and the JW? and how many use gods name? salvation is christ's sacrifice which is why the mosiac law is abolished, and we no longer have to sacrifice animals
Toliverant 11 months ago
@Toliverant one's Salvation doesn't have to do with the works that he does. That's the point. Which is why I really don't understand why JW are so adamant about working so much. Salvation is a free gift, a GIFT, from God, Jesus. All we have to do is accept it. The Bible is clear about faith and works. Eph 2:8-9. lol, even in the NWT. the JW is twisted, it doesn't make sense.
musikalfuture 11 months ago
@musikalfuture not really I am not a JW as i have said but find thier ways more correct, jesus said we must work and all the apostles and deciples did ministry work to spread the word of god, it aint an easy religion to follow i know but jesus also said the beware of the wolf in lambs clothing and you will know the right religion from its fruites meaning good trees bare good fine fruit
Toliverant 11 months ago
@Toliverant all of the work, ministry, preaching, everything that you said, are all simply fruits, or 'proofs' of your salvation. If you are saved through Christ, then naturally, by His spirit, you will want to serve. Works are not what give you your salvation, they are a byproduct of your salvation. Fruits, and product of you fulfilling the Great Commission, given to us by Jesus as He was ascending into Heaven.
musikalfuture 11 months ago
@musikalfuture good point, but it takes more than just knowing and acknowledging the religion and christ and god, it says in revalation that sides will be taking basically, wether u know it or not hence meaning you could pick satans side without knowing it unless u take true reading into gods way, also since i have learnt united nations are talking bout the defamation of religion (which only the JW have predicted) im more on the JW side than any other form
Toliverant 11 months ago
@Toliverant I'm confused again my friend. The defamation of Christianity is all throughout the book of Revelation. This isn't news to anybody. It's been going on for centuries. The entire world in the end times will be against religion, Christianity in specific. So to give a 'prophecy,' which has already been given is useless. Revelation says the world will be turned over to evil. JW could have said it about any country and they would be right (even though Revelation already made it clear.)
musikalfuture 11 months ago
