how is it possible that someone hates tchaikovsky?!?!?!?!?!?! if that happens...something is wrong with the world.lol THE CELLO PART ROCKS!( i play cello as u can tell)
but obviousley he love this piece because he found the way to give a homage to Mozart without the horrible recurse of "IMITATION" he took the "MOZARTIANA" inspiration and this is the results a preciocius give to his idol!!!
where's the double bass???

they're very good, but honestly, the acoustics in this room are blowing my mind.
I'd listen to 'i'm a little teapot' played on a kazoo in this room.

Yes, it is true, Serenade for Strings has 4 movements.
Just to make it clear: present exert is the beginning of 1st moviment.

Tchaikovsky's violin concerto has three movements
If you like the serenade there is hope for you as hatred is a severe reaction

wow this is so beautiful it gives me goosebumps. One of my favorite composers and pieces by him. It's sad, haunting and divine all at the same time.

Tchaikovsky himself said that he loved this piece, and I agree- its a perfect and gorgeous example of the time's music.
