I realize that the perfect love of God heals all hurts & removes the deepest scars. His love is not contingent upon the external but it is based on the deeper bonds of loving me for the one He has created. I decided a lifetime ago that I wanted to experience a healing love and a love that does not fade when I make a mistake or when I excel, but it is there because He wants it to be. I hope that one day all people will decide to give this Love a chance.

After being married for four years and having a very intimate relationship with Christ, I would say that this song covers both relationships. Never has my husband been perfect, but he comes as close as humanly possible. However, if it were not for my relationship with God, I wouldn't know how to love my husband and vice versa. Why is that artists like India Arie are brushed under the carpet. While artists like Kesha, Lady Gaga and RIhanna are topping the charts for rubbish they consider "music". This has to be the most beautiful song ever. Not once is she talking about sex and this song is so powerful to the fact that it can either be a gospel for God or your true love.

After being married for four years and having a very intimate relationship with Christ, I would say that this song covers both relationships.
