Rammstein cannot be Nazis. For example in their song Links, 2,3,4 the say: Mein Herz schlägt am linken Fleck, in english my heart beats at my left side^^.

Guys, they can not be Nazis. One of the band members is half-Jewish. If they were a Nazi band, do you really think they would have him on their band. I'm from America and I can tell that these guys are not Nazis.

I'm not sure which band member is. Someone had told me that one of the bandmembers is half Jewish from his mother. The websites on this band doesn't go into too much detail on their personal lives. I'm assuming its Flake the keyboardist.

Anyone who says that Rammstein would be so is a complete idiot. One of the guitarists actually is jewish and has a pretty jewish-inspired sideproject called Emigrate. If anything, Rammstein comes out AGAINST nazi's and ridicule them, I hope anyone foolish enough to be one realises that.

Sorry my bad, I really thought I'd heard one of the other band members mention that he was jewish, but now that I research it, he doesn't sem to be. It doesn't really matter, it's just a choice, Emigrate clearly has Jewish references at the least though. I wonder what Richard's stand is on all this and wether he does really want to reference in any clear way to judism?

You know, if they really were Nazi, they wouldn't plead to the contrary, write a song claiming their leftism and take steps to crack down on Nazi organizations that use their music. Hell, most of the band comes from EAST Germany, aka a former Communist state. If they really believed what you think they do, all they would have to do is not make a statement regarding their political stance, rather than outright deny it.

Hey Guys. I am German and I know quite a lot of things about Nazis of today. Today the "NPD" even still is in the politics and has been new arranged by a certain man named udo voigt. He is now trying to influence especially the youth. I was taught how to detect a Nazi and I can tell you: Rammstein is not Nazi! They use a little Nazi stuff like the rolled R but it comes automatically when singing this deep. And they never used Nazi stuff on purpose. They just want to provoce, but they're not Nazi

Sorry but what German Part are you comin from that you think a "rolling R" is a Symbol for Nazis?? Just listen up to Songs of "Robert Schumann", "Beethoven" and other classical composers and you will notice that the Rolling R is a mean used in uncountable pieces of music to make it sound more powerful.

Quite easy. Hitler was famous for his rolled R, and today you are considered being Nazi when doing it. It was being used at that time, and afterwards it would die out because the Nazis used it.

Rammstein have lot of nazi symbols in their lyrics, even in their logo. You must be extremely stupid or too young to notice it.
I'm not saying they are nazi, just that they use some of it's symbols and philosophy.
By the way, what's wrong with that? Do you even know what is to be a "nazi"? Just asking because today everyone says "lol nazi" but nobody really knows what it means...

A Nazi band would NEVER make it in the mainstream. What, exactly, does Rammstein's music have in common with Nazism? The German language and a somewhat militant sound? Been around long before nazis and will be long after. The + is not a Nazi symbol, it resembles neither a swastika nor the iron cross. Not all Germans are automatically Nazis. Get an education. "To be a nazi" is to be a racist and a facist with delusions of grandeur in a failed socialist party. That's what's wrong with it, idiot.

I seriously doubt there's any real nazi support in Rammstein. It just comes up because they're German and that's an unfortunate stereotype Germans (particularly angry-sounding ones) have gained
