@spleenarcana I use a Mindprint en-voice II but I think for next album I'll be using more amp / speaker isolation box / Mics... The VSTs do 90% and give you room to experiment but they sometimes lack "air". Experimenting with re-amping as well so guitar can be recorded clean and dirtied/experimented after... best of both worlds

What do you use to get your solo sound? Do you record amp or record direct?

@spleenarcana .. it depends... but most of the time I DI into valve pre-amp - then VST a mix of GRig or Amplitude.
