I remember him saying that melancholy has always been a part of his personality. He is not lying in bed all the time but he's somewhat melancholic. Maybe it was in this part. In Germany they broadcast the German translation..... maybe it was different from what he's saying in original

i'm french so i speak like a french cow lol but i'm gonne try to explain u the point. he said that he could spend 6month time without having any inspiration , without writing or composing anything. He compare this to a depression .
