This guy makes an excellent point. I would say a nation of many laws is a nation that isn't very emotionally Intelligent. If it was emotionally intelligent, there would be fewer laws because people would be more rational and compassionate, thus not looking to harm or steal from one another. But, I would say, States usually pass law after law so to control populations better. When there is too many laws, then you know that the state is totalitarian and doesn't respect human rights.

Meh. I can think of a lot of 99% blue-collar types who break laws, and get away with it much more frequently and sometimes more heinously than those with the keys to power. Cops, the crypts of in Harlem, and the countless times the innocent are sent to jail - convicted by a jury of their peers.
